Summary of the Job:
The Coordinator coordinate and support all vaccination teams in one area of intervention under the direct supervision of Medair Health officer and Senior Health officer. The coordinator ensure the roll out of the daily activities in coordination with the team Supervisors. Support the Ministry of Public Health’s effort to tackle the Cholera outbreak.
Location:
CholeVax team Bekaa or North Lebanon
Working hours:
8h/ day, 6 days per week. (additional hours can be requested by the site supervisor upon needs)
Payment: 50 USD/day
Duration: 3 to 4 weeks
Estimated starting date: Nov 10th
Job holder reports to:
Medair Health officer or Health senior Officer
Main tasks and duties:
- Support in the vaccination process in the destined locations.
- Coordination of the vaccination teams movement following MopH and Medair vaccination deployment plan.
- Provide technical and administrative support to teams supervisors following official guidelines
- Conduct supervision rotation across the different vaccination teams.
- Ensure and organize appropriate and timely supply of vaccines and needed consumable in coordination with Medair health team.
- Report any adverse event and emergency case to the Medair Health team.
- Support community liaison for activities engagement in the designated locations
- Commit to working hours.
- Commit to maintain professional ethics, quality of care, patient confidentiality.
- Abide by all policies and work procedures.
- Treat all patients with respect and professionalism.
- Perform any other tasks based on needs to ensure proper roll out of the vaccination, upon supervisor and/or coordinator request.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree in medical field minimum (Registered nurse, M.D, Public Health officer,…)
- NGO experience in health programme vaccination campaign
- Good verbal and written communication
- Basic computer skills (especially in using the electronic medical file), electronic printer, etc.
- Languages: Arabic (Fluent), English (Fluent).
