The Communication Officer is responsible for creating and developing engaging media products across multiple platforms. The role consists of helping to produce compelling videos and photos. Should be innovative and self-driven.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop and implement communication strategies.
- Propose ideas and slogans for communication campaigns.
- Ensure coverage of projects, activities and events through social media posts, press releases, newsletters, reports, etc. and other communication materials that may include photos and videos.
- Regularly update social media schedule and lead on Communications as per existing strategy.
- Develop content for website and social media platforms on a regular basis through collaboration with the team.
- Produce engaging text, photo, and video posts and appealing and effective, fully edited high-quality photos and videos.
- Responsible for maintaining and building a professional archive of all photos, footage, and videos that are produced.
- Responsible for conducting research, as necessary to help produce accurate content for compelling videos and accurate labels for photos
- Implement fundraising events and campaigns and assist in coordinating communication activities and events.
- Ensure proper development of visibility tools
- Daytime travel throughout Lebanon is required
Required Skills:
- Excellent written and oral English and French communication skills and proficiency in Arabic.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment, team player.
- Ability to meet work deadlines.
- Self-motivated and capable of taking initiatives and proposing and finding ideas.
