Responsibilities
Main Task:
The Project Coordinator will be in charge of the implementation of the project activities.
Detailed Tasks:
- He/she takes part in the development of the project work plans in coordination with the M&E officer and project manager.
- He/she takes an active role during the reporting period.
- He/she ensures quality data is maintained by ensuring proper reporting, documentation and filing system are in place.
- He/she supervises the implementation of the activities and report the progress in each cycle and the challenges/risks on daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- He/she participates to internal and external coordination meetings, including working groups.
- He/she participates in staff recruitment, orientation, and guidance at the start of the project and throughout the implementation period as needed.
- He/she supports the M&E Officer in the preparation, design, and implementation of all data collection activities including online tracking sheets, monitoring visits, and other similar activities to use as lessons learned and to support in the design of new programs.
- He/she reports periodically on Activity Info and Grants Management System.
The Project Coordinator will also have to fulfill any other task as requested by her/his supervisor depending on the programmatic priorities.
Skills and knowledges:
- Strong capacity to coordinate with a team.
- Strong understanding of the needs and challenges of the protection and food security sectors.
- Very good communication, coordination and diplomacy.
- Integrity, fairness and impartiality.
- Ability to manage sensitive cases and confidential information.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships and networks.
Experience:
- Excellent skills and experience working in protection, food security and WASH sectors.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience, especially at NGOs.
Academic background:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, social work, psychology or equivalent.
Minimum of Master’s Degree is a plus.
Languages: English and or Arabic are the working language of FRPD.
