Under the overall supervision of the Head of Resources Management and the direct supervision of the Senior ICT Assistant, the incumbent will act as Information Technology Intern undertaking the following:
General functions:
1. Assist with the general functions of the Information Technology Unit in the day-to-day processes.
2. Assist in performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and debugging of network devices.
3. Help in configuring and installing new network devices and peripherals.
4. Basic end-user support on technical issues covering PC hardware, printers, scanners, computer peripherals, mobile devices (Android).
5. Assist in maintaining and monitoring of the equipment inventory.
6. Assist with developing new information management tools using Power Platforms and Microsoft Products.
7. Perform other related duties as may be required.
Training Components and Learning Elements:
The successful candidate will:
