The Opportunity

The Human Resources and Administrative Officer is responsible for performing human resources and administration activities in Beirut Field Office in line with Save the Children’s policies and procedures including recruitment, contract management, data management, HR operations and HR management system.

In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.

In order to be successful you will bring/have:

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field.
  • Written and spoken fluency in English and Arabic.
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in Human Resources function, preferably in the NGO sector.
  • Good Knowledge with labor law and National Social Security.
  • Ability in using Microsoft Office, mainly excel, word, PowerPoint and Visio.
  • Strong acumen in establishing positive working relationships with staff.
  • Proven sense of professional discretion and ability to keep confidentiality.
