Description:
Hiring Sales Officer Freight Forwarding
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Shipping & Logistics, focusing on Freight Forwarding by Sea and Air, in the United Arab Emirates/ GCC Region.
- Two-Five years’ experience in marketing and or sales.
- Knowledgeable in Sales and Marketing.
- Strong Analytical, Organizational, and Creative-Thinking Skills.
- Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Customer Service Skills.
- Knowledge of data analysis and report writing.
- The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- Applicants on a visit visa or from cancellation can apply as long as you have the shipping and freight forwarding experience here in Dubai or in any GCC Region. We will not accept applicants with near expiry visa.
- Ability and willingness to travel
Job Description:
- Promoting the company’s offered services to the market.
- Travel overseas for marketing
- Analyzing budgets, preparing annual budget plans, scheduling expenditures, and ensuring that the sales team meets their quotas and goals.
- Researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company’s marketing goals.
- Gathering, investigating, and summarizing market data and trends to draft reports.
- Recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and managing marketing and sales teams to meet sales and marketing resource objectives.
- Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
- Staying up-to-date in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks.
- Create business opportunities/ sales strategies to get more clients;
- Monitor project statuses on a day to day basis and coordinate with clients;
- Negotiate and close deals through outbound calls;
- Provide proactive customer service addressing issues/problems of the customers;
- Planning and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies and plans to achieve business targets;
- Identifying new sales opportunities and develop new prospect leads;
- Create and follow-up proposals sent to clients;
- Represent our business in a professional manner at all times;
- Maintain sales activity records, reports and follow-ups for management.
