General Objectives and tasks:
1. Transport materials, equipment, and supplies around job sites; dig holes, level ground, and perform various tasks requiring a compact, maneuverable machine:
- Operate the skid steer to load and unload materials, debris, and equipment.
- Maneuver the skid steer around job sites to transport materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Dig trenches, holes, and foundations using the skid steer's bucket or attachment.
- Grade and level ground with the skid steer's blade attachment.
- Transport glass from pile to sorting machine, and from sorted pile to crushing machine.
- Remove debris and waste materials using the skid steer.
- Maintain the skid steer's engine, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
2. Ensure that projects are completed safely and efficiently while protecting natural resources and wildlife habitats:
- Communicate with site supervisors, contractors, and other team members to ensure the timely completion of tasks and adherence to safety protocol.
- Following all safety procedures and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance on the equipment, such as checking fluid levels, changing filters, and performing regular inspections to ensure it is in good working condition.
3. Support environmental projects by operating the skid steer to perform various tasks requiring a compact, maneuverable machine.
Position requirements:
Professional skills:
- Heavy machinery driving permit
- The ability to operate a skid steer safely and efficiently, including proficiency in basic controls, steering, and maneuvering
- Knowledge of basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- The ability to communicate effectively with other team members
- Problem-solving
- Knowledge of personal protective equipment and safe working practices

Working Schedule: Monday till Friday; From 09:00 AM till 05:00 PM.
Contract Type: 6 Months (Renewable depending on funding and performance).
