The consultant should submit a CV, portfolio of previous projects, in addition to a short concept note related to abovementioned intervention with a budget at careers@fairtradelebanon.org.
The detailed workplan will be developed and agreed upon in coordination with FTL team.
- Objective
The global objective of the project is to provide a long-term response to the crisis for food producers in the Bekaa region in order to maintain their production while enhancing the resilience of vulnerable communities, stimulate the local economic growth and promote Bekaa’s culinary heritage.
By increasing numbers of visitors in the region, this project will support Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) and contribute to the long-term sustainability of local agriculture and food systems, while promoting social and economic inclusion of vulnerable population in particular youth, women and refugees
- Scope of work
Develop and design visual materials for the Shabake 2 project, including but not limited to infographics, flyers, banners, posters, social media graphics, and reports.
Work with FTL communications team to ensure all design materials align with FTL messaging and branding guidelines.
Provide design support to the team to develop visual materials for the project
Maintain an organized digital library of design assets, including templates, logos, and photos.
Stay up-to-date with emerging design trends and tools, and make recommendations for how the project can leverage them to enhance its visual materials
The consultant will dedicate 14 days of a period of 2 months to develop and implement the intervention with beneficiaries of the project

- Develop and design of high-quality visual materials for the project.
- Increase the engagement rates of the through the use of compelling visual materials.
- Ensure all design materials align with the FTL’s messaging and branding guidelines, and are of high quality and professional standard.

- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field.
- At least three years of experience working as a graphic designer in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Strong understanding of design principles and best practices, including color theory, typography, and layout.
- Knowledge of or experience in the NGO sector is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of or experience in the NGO sector is preferred.
- Strong experience in working with small businesses, mainly in agro-food and tourism
