POSITION TITLE: Junior Accountant & Admin Officer
REPORTING TO: Finance & Admin Manager
Location: Beirut
STATUS: Full time position (5 working days from the office)
SALARY: $700 Monthly
PERIOD: for 12 months renewable based on the performance and availability of funds
Position Summary
As a Junior Accountant & Admin Officer, you will be based in INJAZ Lebanon Beirut office (Bchara El Khoury) with the following working schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 am till 5:00 pm and responsible of:
- Performing accounting transactions, bookkeeping
- Handling the soft and hardcopy filing of the department
- Support in Accounts Payables payments and reconciliations
- Support in Bank and Cash reconciliations
- Support in donors’ reports
- Handle the HR documents and contracts
The Junior Accountant & Admin Officer will be reporting to the Finance & Administration Officer based in Beirut office
Responsibilities
Accounting:

- Performs bookkeeping of accounting transactions
- Submits weekly statement of accounts of suppliers to the Finance & Admin Officer and agree on the payments of the week
- Prepares the payments and follow up on all needed documents to process the payments
- Follows up with the team regarding the invoices and needed legal documents
- Performs confirmation balance with third parties
- Performs Bank and Cash reconciliations
- Handle CNSS Registrations & Leaves along with Insurance inclusions and exclusions
Finance:
- Supports in the financial reports of the different donors
- Updates the financial reports and the info on excel
- Scans and files according to each donor’s requirements and standards
- Controls the invoices and the payments
- Gets quotations and communicates with all the suppliers and service providers (Handles Procurement)
HR:
- Gathers the HR legal documents of the staff (New and old)
- Scans and files the documents
- Prepares and updates the contracts of the staff members monthly
Admin:

- Reviews all supporting documents of invoices and payments and make sure they are all valid
- Handles the soft and hardcopy filing of the department
- Updates the list of assets
- Manages Beirut Petty cash and fills and the tracker and the enumeration accordingly
- Checks the utilities needed for the offices and handles any issues related
- Manage the offices’ printouts and stationaries
.Position Qualification
- Bachelor in Accounting, Business Administration, finance, auditing or any other relevant field or equivalent.
- Details oriented
- Very good written and communication skills
- Sincere interest in the mission of INJAZ Lebanon and in entrepreneurship
- Highly organized, motivated and a team player
- Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic
- Good knowledge in MS office (preferably also in Adobe suite).
