The Lebanese Association for Democratic Elections (LADE) was founded in Lebanon by a number of activists in the public sector on March 13, 1996. LADE is a civil, independent and nonprofit organization specialized in elections and how closely they are linked to democracy.
LADE is concerned with monitoring the elections in their different forms as well as studying the electoral systems and laws according to the international democratic electoral standards, especially standards that guarantee free, fair and transparent elections.
Objectives:
LADE is seeking a graphic design intern to support its communication and outreach efforts. The primary objectives of this internship opportunity are as follows:
a. Develop visually compelling designs and materials that effectively communicate LADE's mission, activities, and initiatives.
b. Enhance LADE's brand identity through consistent and visually appealing designs.
c. Assist in creating engaging social media content, infographics, brochures, posters, and other promotional materials.
d. Contribute to the development of creative concepts and ideas to enhance LADE's visual presence.
Responsibilities:
The selected graphic design intern will be responsible for the following tasks:
a. Collaborate with the Communications Officer to understand the design requirements and objectives.
b. Create visually appealing designs, adhering to the organization's branding guidelines.
c. Develop engaging social media graphics, infographics, and promotional materials.
d. Ensure that all designs are delivered within the specified timelines.
e. Work closely with the Communications Officer to iterate and refine designs based on feedback.
Qualifications:
a. Knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or other relevant tools.
b. Strong creative skills, with an eye for detail.
c. Familiarity with social media platforms and designing content for online channels.
d. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
e. Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Duration and Time Commitment:
The intern is expected to work 3 days per week, two of which will be remote. The arrangement for remote days is subject to prior agreement with the supervisor.
The intern will be supervised by the Communications Officer and will receive guidance and feedback throughout their internship period. Regular check-ins and review meetings will be conducted to ensure progress and address any queries or challenges.

Kindly note that LADE will consider the first week as a probation period, during which the intern will not receive compensation. However, the intern will be provided with transportation reimbursement of 1,000,000 LBP for each working day present during the probation period.
