الوصف:

The role of the Sales Manager is to manage sales of KANZ products by ensuring consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through planning, deployment and management of sales personnel.

The role also consists in identifying objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and profitability.

Key Accountabilities

Strategy

  • Elaborates the vision at the department level and set up the yearly strategic plan and the yearly budgets in accordance with Kanz Beit El Baraka SARL’s vision and mission.
  • Formulates standard operating procedures for Sales and ensures that these are being maintained & implemented.
  • Sets and identifies departmental Key Performance Indicators – KPIs

Operational – Sales Management

  • Formulates and follows up on sales strategies as per the business plan with sales team that guarantees the company’s sales, goals and profitability.
  • Directs the actual distribution or movement of products to the customer to optimize distribution channels. (GTM- Go to Market)
  • Sets clear monthly targets for the sales team by sales representative, by category and by retail environment to reach the initial budget.
  • Sets and control sales call cycle to ensure optimizing sales and team management.
  • Ensures the achievement of the monthly target in order to reach the yearly financial objective.
  • Builds and implements promo plan by item, depending on stock level and stock aging to ensure the optimization of company’s current assets.
  • Acts as a mediator between sales representatives, clients and support functions in order to ensure proper flow of work.
  • Anticipates any problem in delivering the products to the clients in order to avoid return and incur additional expenses.
  • Negotiates and implements the annual trade contract which includes the client’s terms and conditions to monitor and grow the client’s business.
  • Finds new market (Local & Abroad) opportunities to ensure the growth of the company’s market share and business.

Operational – Brand Management

  • Communicates with relevant supplier concerning orders, sales, promotions and new launches to ensure brand market share and profitability growth and reaching internal and external preset objectives.
  • Sets product prices and analyzes the potential profitability, in order to meet internal margins, target and to be aligned with brand pricing strategy.
  • Sets and updates the yearly business plan concerning each brand to achieve sales growth and follow up on top line in the P&L.
  • Monitors competitors’ activities to ensure the company’s brands development and to be able to react versus competition and gathers data regarding competitors’ activities in order to define the company’s position within a specific market.

People Management

  • Carries out Annual Appraisals for subordinates.
  • Make recommendation on hiring, termination, promotion and discipline as required.
  • Provides support and guidance to his/her team, develops and motivates their performance to improve productivity and quality of work.

Financial Accountabilities

  • Develops, monitors, oversees the department’s (Local & Sales Export) budget and financial.
  • Manages the in-store activities budget expense and end year rebate contracts to implement Management P&L guidelines in order to stay within the authorized budget.
