 Job Description:

Position: Health Project Manager – Beirut

Position Location: Beirut, Lebanon

Description: Ghawth is a non-governmental organization working to provide health services to all needy people all over lebanon. Ghawth Provides primary and secondary healthcare services, as well as other projects with health scope.

Reported to: Executive Director

Position summary: project manager ensures that the project is completed on time, and within budget, the project’s objectives are met and that everyone else is doing his/her job properly. Also, to ensure that the desired results are achieved, the most efficient resources are used, and the different interests involved are satisfied.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties

  1. Recruiting, interviewing, and selection of staff needed for the project under his/her management in collaboration with Human Resources.
  2. Create and implement policies, make work schedules, delegate assignments, and supervise the staff work, ensure competence and effective use of resources.
  3. Preparing action plans with the project coordinators.
  4. Ensure that the deadlines are met by planning and scheduling the project timeline.
  5. Manages the project staff according to the organizational policies and procedures.
  6. Representing Ghawth interests.
  7. Managing project's budgets and expenses to ensure that project is completed within its budget.
  8. Carrying out risk management.
  9. Oversee the successful implementation of project activities, ensuring that the team is following work plans, that activities are on schedule, and that program deliverables are completed as agreed.
  10. Making sure that the quality standards are met.
  11. Overseeing the financial workflow of the project by checking the invoices and the costs in collaboration with the finance manager.
  12. Preparing narrative report.

Skills:

  1. Advanced working knowledge of google tools and MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, and Teams)
  2. Ability to complete tasks on time.
  3. Written and verbal communication skills and reporting skills in both Arabic and English.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
  5. Ability to work independently, coordinate, and plan with relevant team members.
  6. Strong organizational skills.
  7. Ability to give and receive feedback constructively.

Education:

  1. Bachelor Degree in medical, pharmacy or health sciences plus Business management.
  2. Master degree is a plus.

Experience:

  1. 3 to 5 years experience in management.
