I. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Accountant will provide support to the accounting department by handling general accounting tasks on a daily basis, primary data, preparing financial statements, issuing receipts, invoices and updating the financial database.

III. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handles petty cash on a daily basis.
- Prepares bank reconciliations and related entries for a variety of accounts.
- Prepares cash reconciliations abd related entries for a variety of accounts.
- Prepares accounts payables (employees, suppliers, consultants)
- Prepares accounts receivables (sales, payroll)
- Assists the chief accountant in the preparation of monthly/yearly closing.
- Conducts data entry and validates the related supporting documents.
- Assists in the processing of the financial statements (Balance sheet, income statement and other financial report)
- Files and archives all financial documents in a clearly and organized manner.
- Assists in the prepapration of the monthly reports related to donors and completes scanning.
- Assists in the preparation of auditing requirements.
- Prepares reconciliation of suppliers and clients on a monthly/quarterly basis.
IV- QUALIFIFACTIONS
a. Critical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum experience of 3 years in accounting or related field.
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics or any related accounting system.
- Knowledge in official documental procedures (compliance aspect).
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Tools (Word- Excel- PowerPoint) and reporting models (Excel functions, Pivot Tables, data collection and consolidation, charts)
- Knowledge in using data visualization tools.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
