Responsibilities:
Main Task:
Plan and manage all personal related activities to meet the qualitative and quantitative manpower requirements of the organization by implementing recruitment, training and appraisal schemes. In addition, the role entails the overall management of FRPD’s assets.
Detailed Tasks:
- Oversee employees of the Human Resources & Admin Department and monitor all activities
- Perform evaluation of employees in own department based on a clear performance evaluation mechanism
- Develop and oversee implementation of HR policies and procedures including recruitment, training and retention/motivation scheme
- Oversee and supervise the development of employee appraisal mechanisms and ensure proper implementation of performance appraisal
- Perform continuous assessments and updating policies and regulations related to human resources to keep pace with working requirements and in line with approved authority matrix
- Ensure a balance and motivating working environment for all employees
- Provide guidance and counseling for all employees
- Validate payroll data and work effectively with Finance to ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries and allowances.
- Establish and operate effective employee management procedures (annual leave, sick days, attendance, etc.)
- Ensure effective dissemination and communication of personnel policies and procedures through the organization
- Oversee the development and updating of employee database including data and documentation (educational background, joining date, contract, certificates, passports, etc.)
- Ensure the accuracy and correctness of HR records
- Raise monthly reports to the Director of the organization concerning attendance, leave, lateness, sick days, etc.
- Ensure that the recruitment processes for different job levels is properly implemented, and that appropriate forms are used
- Conduct screening of CVs and search for qualified candidates through identified channels such as universities, CV databases, etc.
- Write and maintain job descriptions in coordination with key personnel
- Prepare employment offers and contracts for selected candidates, in coordination with the Director and President to determine the appropriate packages.
- Maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, universities, head hunters, etc.
- Define FRPD's training requirements and needs and develop training plans to effectively meet these needs
- Evaluate effectiveness of the trainings offered to employees
- Manage all volunteers' related issues from identification of opportunities to selection, utilization and evaluation
Requirements for the position:
- Fluent in Arabic and Excellent in English (Oral and written)
- Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, basic software applications and familiarity with the internet and email communications
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills, very good judgement of people
- High motivation, networking skills, and conflict management skills
