Job Purpose: Support the implementation of the child protection project by ensuring the delivery of the CB-ECE curriculum to children enrolled in PARD's Borj Chamali Center. The project will start on the 1st of October 2023.
Responsibilities:
- Support PARD’s scope of work, team, aims, beneficiaries, and objectives
- Plan and prepare lessons and topics to be given to the class on a daily and a weekly basis
- Coordinate with teachers of the same level concerning the daily and weekly plans
- Report the plans to the Head Teacher and the Project Coordinator
- Deliver the material of the plan on a daily basis to the children
- Maintain class order and organization
- Document children’s attendance
- Report the progress of the children through assessments on a timely basis
- Fill the pre-tests and post-tests assigned by MEHE with the children
- Ensure the safety of the children while being in class
- Submit monthly timesheets to the Project Coordinator
- Participate in all relevant meetings and capacity-building programs
- Understand and comply with the Child Protection and PSEA Policy
Requirements:
- BA in education, preschool education, social sciences, or another related field- or equivalent experience
- 1-2 year experience in a similar position with children 4 to 6 of age
- Understand and comply with the Child Protection and PSEA Policy
- Knowledge and experience with the CB-ECE curriculum
- Demonstrated planning and time management skills
- Ability to work as a room teacher and within a team
- Basic computer literacy is mandatory (e.g: excel, word, mailbox/communication)
