Reports To: Procurement & Logistics Officer

Jobs Purpose : 

The driver will be supporting movements needed in the Hermel Area under the supervision of the Procurement & Logistics Officer.

Main Responsibilities :

• Ensure that the rented vehicle is equipped with all relevant and up-to-date insurance policies including material damage and bodily injury.
• Practice safe driving habits by following all country driving & safety regulations and standards

• Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most convenient trip
• Pick up staff from the place and at the time they’ve requested for work duties
• Transport staff and/or equipment and/or supplies under good security conditions

• Ensure maintenance of the vehicle including daily check-ups and maintenance, in addition to the availability of a First aid kit.
• Maintain the Vehicle Log Sheet and consumption register (Fuel)
• Obtain regular information on road access and safety including traffic and weather reports
• Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
• Ensure cleanliness of the car including car seats and car exterior
• Ensure all passengers are putting on their seat belts
• Report any security incident to the supervisor and/or security focal point
• Abide and follow Security guidance provided by the Bekaa Centre Coordinator and/or Security focal point.
• Immediately inform the Bekaa Center Coordinator and/or Security focal point of any security incidents
• Keep B&Z Staff and any other passengers in a secure situation and away from bodily harm.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times
• Attend training and briefings provided by B&Z on safety and security, incident reporting, safeguarding, code of conduct, and other policies and procedures as requested.

–  الحفاظ على دفتر سجل المركبة وسجل استهلاك الوقود.

– الحصول على معلومات منتظمة حول الوصول إلى الطرق والسلامة بما في ذلك تقارير المرور والطقس.

– ضبط المسار لتجنب الازدحام المروري أو أعمال البناء على الطريق حسب الحاجة.

– التأكد من نظافة السيارة بما في ذلك مقاعد السيارة والجزء الخارجي للسيارة.

– التأكد من ارتداء جميع الركاب لحزام الأمان.

–  الإبلاغ عن أي حادث أمان للمشرف و/أو النقطة المركزية للأمان.

– الامتثال واتباع التوجيهات الأمنية المقدمة من منسق مركز البقاع و/أو النقطة المركزية للأمان.

– إبلاغ منسق مركز البقاع و/أو النقطة المركزية للأمان على الفور بأي حادث أمان.

– لحفاظ على موظفي بسمة و زيتونة وأي ركاب آخرين في موقف آمن وبعيدين عن الضرر الجسدي.

–  الحفاظ على السرية في جميع الأوقات.

– حضور التدريبات والإحاطات التي تقدمها بسمة و زيتونة حول السلامة والأمان وتقارير الحوادث والحماية ومدونة السلوك وسياسات وإجراءات أخرى حسب الطلب.

Miscellaneous: On request, perform any other additional duties assigned by the Procurement and Logistics Officer and/or Bekaa Center Coordinator in order to allow the organization to function optimally.
