Key Of Life is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Community Mobilizer for a full time position to support the project activities with liaising with existing structures, local authority, community leaders and other stakeholders to ensure coordinated actions aiming to prevent and respond to violence against Women and children.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring an effective outreach plan implementation.

key Responsibilities:

• Dissemination of information regarding the project, the activities and the available services provided by Key Of  Life in Akkar.
• Carry out community-based mobilization and other related activities, adhering to project, workplan and ensuring consistent implementation across the project area;
• Identify and recruit community outreach volunteers amongst the communities;
• Maintain regular contacts with community focal points to ensure contact flow of information and feedback;
• Facilitate, collect and report information regarding the overall situation of women, families and their communities;
• Identify areas where communities need support, facilitate access to resources;
• Establish connection with the community in the implementation’s area;
• Facilitate community meetings to encourage discussion;
• Perform other duties are required.

Education:

University degree in Social Work or other related field

Professional Competencies:

• A minimum of 2 years work experience in implementing programs focused on women and girls Survivor or at risk of violence
• Previous experience working in protection, or in a similar domain
• Strong conceptual and practical understanding of protection standards
• Understanding of emerging trends and challenges in protection of civilians and refugees and potential solutions to the challenges, preferably in Lebanon
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including ability to fluently articulate key protection issues in reports, articles, blogs etc.
• Demonstrable understanding of the gender dynamics of protection work and ability to capture in analysis and design of protection activities with a strong emphasis on the gendered aspects of conflict, violence and abuse
• Proven ability to communicate easily and readily verbally and in written form, fast delivery of a substantial workload with completed, specific planned deliverables, and to write analysis documents
• Sensitivity to cultural differences, and the ability to work in a wide variety of cultural contexts.
• Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills, being knowledgeable about media, advertising panels and liaison lanes would be significant
