الوصف:

Join our team and make a lasting impact on the lives of vulnerable children in the Palestinian refugee community in Lebanon. As the Learning Center Supervisor and Activities Coordinator, you will lead the coordination of our education services, conduct school visits, and develop strategic plans for our learning centers. The project “Strengthening access to quality, inclusive and sustainable education services for the vulnerable boys and girls of the Palestinian refugee community in Lebanon” will be implemented by AL-JANA in partnership with TDH Italy and funded by UNICEF.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Coordination and follow-up visits to UNRWA schools, Community and CBOs.
  • Prepare, in coordination with center staff, work plans with clear objectives and achievement benchmarks, long-term and short term priorities, implementation plans, and evaluation tools;
  • Update, in collaboration with the team, the outputs of the program and propose adjustments if necessary for ongoing activities;
  • In collaboration with the Data Responsible person and Monitoring and Evaluation officer, TDH focal point, ensure monitoring and evaluation plans are understood by center teams and that data is collected in a timely manner and is of good quality;
  • Support in the recruitment of education staff for center positions.
  • Support logistics processes to procure, store and distribute stock, supplies and services for the timely delivery of project objectives.
  • Liaise with the finance and administration department to support the successful implementation of the project.
  • Follow-up visits to the beneficiaries.
  • Follow up on all the activities related to the projects.
  • Developing intervention strategies to increase academic success.
  • Assist teachers and administrators in dealing with behavioral or attitude issues by communicating with students/parents.
  • Maintain case files and reports to track student problems and progress and to recognize patterns in behavior.
  • To participate in all training offered by Partner, TDH IT, and UNICEF.
  • To pursue continuous professional development, in order to keep up with the latest methodologies that enhance work progress.
  • Ensure a strict adherence to Child Protection Policy (including respect for confidentiality, and adopting a child-centered approach).
  • Any other tasks required by the job.

Academic Qualification & Job Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Management, Business, Education, or other related fields with NGOs.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for Right Holders(Clients).
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Community Development and Participatory Development Processes.
  • Positive & Professional attitude and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to details.
  • Ability to have diplomacy and resolve conflicts and achieve results.
  • Team Work.

Work Experiences:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in NGOs or relevant work experience in
  • managing work plans and implementing project activities
  • Experience in the assessment process, Monitoring & Evaluation and Capacity Building Training
  • Computer Skills

Competencies:

  • Ability to work under pressure

Organizational Policies:

  • Respect ARCPA/AL-JANA Policies such as the Code of Conduct, Child Rights, Child Protection, Prevention from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, and Gender and Diversity.
  • Report any potential breaches of the Policies to the Focal Point.
  • Aware of, abides by and promotes the practices and values set out in all ARCPA/AL-JANA Policies and Procedures.

Other information:

  • Shortlisted Candidates will be invited for a Technical Test & interview.
  • Priority will be given to fully qualify registered Palestinian refugee candidates residing in Wadi El Zeineh and its surroundings.
  • Only the Candidates who pass the technical test will be invited for the interview.
