Key Responsibilities:

Program Strategy and Growth:

  • Collaborate with the Executive Director to strategize program growth, renewal of commitments, and innovative initiatives.
  • Lead the development of program proposals and actively seek new funding opportunities in collaboration with the Executive Director and the team.
  • Assess the appropriateness of the program model for the local area and make necessary adaptations if required.
  • Innovate and introduce new program initiatives while upholding the highest standards of excellence in program delivery.

Partnership and Representation:

  • Represent INJAZ Lebanon in meetings and partnerships with schools, universities, private companies, and other stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and support.
  • Prepare for and assist the Executive Director in meetings with the Board of Directors.
  • Prepare legal documents related to the Board of Directors and ensure timely submission to relevant ministries.

Quality Assurance and Program Management:

  • Oversee program implementation, ensuring adherence to quality standards and donor requirements.
  • Lead the organization's quality assurance efforts by continuously updating operations and quality control plans to align with INJAZ Al-Arab program implementation standards and donor expectations.
  • Manage availability of program materials and resources according to the program plan.
  • Review, develop, and finalize program materials in collaboration with other team members.
  • Review feedback forms and M&E surveys, making necessary changes to improve the projects and programs being implemented.
  • Develop and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and manuals as needed.
  • Develop, review, and issue sub-grantee contracts for projects being implemented.

Financial Management and Budgeting:

  • Develop and manage budgets for all programs and program-related activities in collaboration with the Finance & Admin Manager and the Programs and Marcom team.
  • Develop a yearly budget for the organization with the support of all Head of Departments, ensuring adherence throughout the year.
  • Lead financial audits conducted by INJAZ auditors, ensuring the timely issuance of the Audit Report on a yearly basis.
  • Develop reports to donors with support from other Head of Departments.

Team Management and Empowerment:

  • Manage staff by delegating where appropriate, overseeing crucial decisions and developments, and organizing team meetings.
  • Support Head of Departments in ensuring the smooth-running of the performance evaluation system of staff.
  • Review KPIs of INJAZ employees in collaboration with the Finance & Admin Manager and employee’s Line Manager.
  • Organize and run weekly Head of Department meetings and one-on-one meetings as needed.
  • Contribute to the recruitment of new personnel with the support of the Finance & Admin Manager and positions’ line manager.
  • Ensure resource efficiency and personnel empowerment across the organization.

Position Qualifications:

  • University Education (Master's Degree preferred) in Business, Economics, or Education.
  • 7+ years of experience in private or non-profit sectors, including 3 years in a management role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with excellent organization and budgeting abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic environment, staying composed under stress.
  • Genuine interest in INJAZ Lebanon's mission and values.
  • A motivated team player with exceptional written and spoken English and Arabic skills.
