General objectives and Tasks:
The Quality Officer is responsible for assisting the quality department-specific tasks, and establishing FSMS procedures, standards, systems, and specifications.
1. Assist in the establishment of arcenciel's quality and food safety management systems procedures, standards, systems, and specifications:
- Collect information and work closely with staff to understand and conceptualize the existing processes at different operating units at arcenciel.
- Prepare drafted procedures and update quality documentation and communicate to the concerned parties.
- Work with Quality Coordinators to validate and finalize drafted procedures and policies.
- Ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of external certification bodies.
- Assist in undertaking regular internal and process audits of the Quality and Food Safety Management System.
- Ensure that procedures of all programs, departments, units, centers are in compliance with the requirements of the Quality and Food Safety System and have a minimal level of uniformity across the organization.
- Identify non-compliance and support activity to address to direct supervisor.
- Create and prepare visual representations of internal quality and Food Safety procedures and policies.
- Assist in developing the needed documents and policies to meet the donor’s requirments.
- Assist in performing the needed action to respond to the needs of arcenciel departments, units, and centers.
- May accomplish other field or administrative tasks that are required to ensure the implementation of the quality and food safety requirements.
Position Requirements:
Professional and Personal Competencies:
- Excellent knowledge of QMS, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2018, TQM, OHS
- Previous experience in developing and/or applying Quality and Food safety manuals
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Pragmatic, Structured, Excellent communication skills
- Assertive
- Ability to operate in complex and ambiguous environments
- Must have the ability to work with staff at all levels
Working Schedule: 5 days/week; From 09:00 AM Till 05:00 PM
Contract type: 1 year (Renewable depending on funding and performance).
