Job description:

The Warehouse Monitor ensures the efficiency and quality of the warehouse operation related to the preparation (cleaning and packaging) of the snacks for the project. This role involves being present on every packaging and cleaning day, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the warehouse, monitoring snack quality, overseeing order follow-up, and maintaining effective communication with the Quality Control-Food Safety Officer and the Project Manager. The position reports to the Quality Control-Food Safety Officer.

Key responsibilities:

• Warehouse Presence: Attends and oversees the warehouse cleaning and packaging process with respect to compliance with storage, handling, and safety guidelines.
• Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the warehouse to ensure the safety and quality of stored snacks.
• Snack Quality: Monitor the quality of snacks stored in the warehouse, conducting quality checks as necessary and reporting any issues to the QC-FS Officer.
• Order Follow-Up: Oversee the fulfillment of snack orders and maintain accurate records to ensure that orders are processed efficiently.
• Safety Adherence: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper handling of materials, equipment, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Communication: Maintain effective communication with QC personnel to coordinate and resolve issues related to warehouse operations.
• Reporting: Provide regular reports to the QC-FS Officer on warehouse activities, snack quality, order status, and any challenges or concerns that may arise.

Qualification:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in warehouse management or logistics.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in using computer applications for reporting.
• Effective communication skills to interact with a diverse group of stakeholders.
• Cultural sensitivity and respect for local customs in the project area.
• Fluency in verbal and written English is a must
• Must have a car with a valid license.

Duration of Contract:

• 8 months (November 2023 till June 2024).
