A. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The main role of the Research Manager is to lead the development of research projects leveraging secondary data collected through Embrace activities to general high-impact academic publications and inform national policy.

C. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing/refining tools for ongoing Embrace projects and activities.
- Analysing the data collected from Embrace's programmatic activities and projects, in collaboration with other Embrace staff and external stakeholders or collaborators, to create high-impact academic publications and inform policy making.
- Refining the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) tools for the activities under the Embrace Lifeline department, the Embrace Mental Health Center (EMHC) department, and any pilot projects (monthly, bi-annual, annual or others if needed).
- Establishing collaborations with other research institutions or faculty members to work jointly on research projects.
- Collaborating with academics or graduate students on various data-related activities (e.g. disseminating studies on our social media, involving graduate students in research activities).
- Conducting systematic and non-systematic literature reviews.
- Retrieving/Compiling other data reports as needed for presentations, communication material or any relevant work.
- Identifying and securing research grant(s) for ongoing or novel research projects.
- Analysing, interpreting, and reporting on data collected from programs.
- Envisioning and implementing strategy of the research department for the next one to three years.
- Recruiting and training research assistants and data-entry personnel when needed.
- Involving the academic staff in various research activities.
- Aiding with other data-related questions as they arise.
- Overseeing data collection and analysis of Lifeline quality assurance calls.
D. Qualifications
1. Critical Skills
- MA/MS or preferably Doctoral degree in related field (psychology, data science, public health, etc).
- Minimum of 2-year relevant work experience
- Minimum of 2 publications where applicant is a first author
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Word- Excel- PowerPoint, PowerBI) and reporting models (Excel functions, Pivot Tables, data collection and consolidation, mapping of data)
- Proficient in the use of statistical software (Python, SQL, SPSS, Stata, or R)
- Experience leveraging and managing large datasets.
- Experience using Google Workspace (Google Forms, Google Sheets)
- Experience working with CRMs or EHRs

E. TIME COMMITMENT
20 hours a week office work (Part-Time)
