Detailed Job Description
● Ensure that the financial and accounting systems are maintained under all procedures and controls.
● Ensure end of month proper financial closing, and monthly financial reporting.
● Issue weekly and monthly Banks and Cash reconciliations.
● Analyze financial strengths and weaknesses of the organization and present recommendations accordingly.
● Control, oversee and declare taxation to the Ministry of Finance (MOF) and National Social Security Fund (NSSF) after the accountant's preparation.
● Manage properly the liquidity and forecasts cash flow.
● Develop financial risk management strategies and activate them when necessary.
● Develop and monitor budgets and report variations on a monthly basis.
● Forecast return on investment (ROI) for current and future programs.
● Track important KPIs and analyse trends.
● Inform key stakeholders of financial status and investment plans.
● Ensure all financial operations comply with government laws.
● Supervises the senior accounting officer to ensure smooth day-to-day transactions including bank accounts, money transfers between head-offices and field offices, cheques’ signing, payrolls and other payments authorization, and oversees cash flow management.
● Present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to the Headof Operations and Executive Director, and presents to the board of directors upon president’ request.
● Coordinate with the external auditor on all audit related activities.
● Represent the organization at banks and financial entities meetings and discussions.
● Assist and guide the Head of Operations, Head of Programs, Head of Strategic Development by providing relevant financial information during budgeting, accounts to donors and other decision-making activities.
● Hold responsibility towards the warehouse inventory and all fixed assets of the organization.
● Perform any additional tasks, when requested by the Head of operations.

Supervisory Responsibility: Accountant
Knowledge and Experience
● Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
● MBA degree is a plus.
● Proven3 years’ work experience in accounting, finance, and audit. Preferrably in an NGO/INGO.
● Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures and regulations.
● Excellent knowledge in data analysis, risk management and forecasting
methods.
● Excellent analytical and numerical skills and attention to details, as well as excellent time management skills.
● Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
● Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
● Experience in ERP Dynamics 365 Navision system is a plus.
● CMA/CFA/CPA certificate is a plus.
● Demonstrate strong English and Arabic oral and written communication
skills.
● Detail-oriented and high level of constructive attitude and proactivity.
