Tabitha for Relief and Development is a local Lebanese NGO affiliated with Dorcas Aid International, a Christian relief and development Dutch organization with a long-standing history of providing humanitarian aid and development programs to vulnerable communities worldwide. Our mission is to deliver essential humanitarian assistance, psychosocial support, and community-based protection initiatives, food security and livelihood opportunities.

DESCRIPTION: 

Main Tasks:

  • Provide professional and confidential services to children and adults.
  • Document client information through the accurate filling of intake and consent forms and ensure confidential and safe storage.
  • Provide updated information for reporting purposes (numbers, trend, challenges, …) by respecting the need-to-know information.
  • Support the maintenance of Tabitha case management system by maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Ethically and confidentially collect and store data. Participate in the interpretation of the analyzed data.
  • Participate in the preparation of all relevant reports.
  • Development of referral networks between partners.
  • Strengthen and maintain networks to ensure that survivors and other persons with specific needs receive compassionate support from the community and to encourage greater communication, collaboration, and coordination among partners (protection, health, legal, and psychosocial sectors).
  • Fill in an interagency referral form to ensure an appropriate referral mechanism inter the sectorial level.
  • Work in collaboration with the Project Manager to ensure the ongoing needs of children and adults are being met through prevention-related activities.
  • Participate in review meetings and psychosocial capacity assessment of the local partners
  • Coordinate with the psychologist in place to ensure psychological follow up.
  • Call for case conference for extremely complicated cases.
  • Conducting regular field visits for one of our projects.
  • Participating in evaluation focus groups and meetings.
  • Visit the main office when needed.
  • Perform, as required, other tasks directed by the management.

Educational Requirements/Skills:

  • Bachelor degree in Social Work, Masters is a plus.
  • Female Social Worker is a must.
  • 1-2 years of working experience in an NGO, iNGO is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Having a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
