• Job Title: Learning Support Teacher
• Duty Station/Location: Burj El Barajneh Palestinian camp.
• Working Days: 5 days a week (Monday-Thursday) from 11:00 until 4:30 and (Friday) from 9:00 until 2:00
• Project: Strengthening access to quality, inclusive and sustainable education services for the vulnerable boys and girls of the Palestinian refugee community in Lebanon, in partnership with TDH Italy and funded by UNICEF.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching students according to their educational needs, abilities, and individual attainment potentials of students who are entrusted to his/her care.
• Responsible for submitting daily timesheet to the line manager.
• Assigning the needs of students and using knowledge and specialized skills to support students’ learning;
• Working with selected students, on individual and small group basis, in learning support interventions specifically designed to support their needs, including basic skills in Arabic, English, Science and Math to support the students from G1 to G6.
• Providing objectives, accurate feedback, and reports on students’ achievement, progress and other updates.
• Controlling and maintaining the equipment and contents available in the center.
• Keeping ongoing positive communication with the parents.
• Undertaking any other duties, as may be required in line with the position.

Qualifications:

• Minimum two years of experience working in Active and Inclusive Learning support with (1^st to 6^th grades) and experience in teaching UNRWA curricular subjects.
• Bachelor’s degree in the educational sector.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic languages.
• Ability and experience in using the main computer programs (word, power point, excel) and emails, social network, and multimedia educational content creation (such as educational video)
• Salary Range: 350$

Job Procedures:

• Shortlisted Candidates will be invited for a Technical Test & interview conducted in English.
• Priority will be given to fully qualified registered Palestinian refugees’ candidates
• Only the top 05- ranked-candidates in the technical test will be invited for the interview.
