The Health Admin Assistant is responsible for receiving and interviewing the beneficiaries in the PHCC, in charge of administrative duties and ensure a high-quality customer service to patients.
DUTIES
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails received
- Greet and receive patients upon arrival
- Interview patients for relevant key information
- Manage calendars to schedule medical appointments and arrange referrals
- Assist patients with initial paperwork
- Update accurately and maintain patients' health records
- Ensure that the beneficiaries and their families are aware of the services that are offered in the center
- Participate in the preparation of the awareness sessions and any other campaign
- Record patients’ information in the computer system
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive informationPerforms any administrative duty as per the line manager’s request
SKILLS
- Active listening skills
- Good Communication skills
- Attention to details
- Ability to deal with people in various states of pain, trauma and tragedy
- Ability to work effectively at all levels in the organization, both individually and as part of a team
- Calm under pressure: able to function in the heat of emergency
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
Computer Skills
Microsoft office, V. Dolphin is a plus.
ACADEMIC EDUCATION
Diploma in Secretaria
EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience with NGO is a plus
- Experience in Community Health is a plus
