JOB DESCRIPTION *

JOB SUMMARY:  Supports the Health field team in implementing project activities and coordinates with M&E for reporting and data collection. Coordinates with external stakeholders on a regional/community level and works with the accountability officer on addresses community complaints.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function with or without reasonable accommodation:

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Management
•    Collaborate with Health Coordinator and Director on project design and budget development at the proposal stage (case of project renewal)
•    Launch Project – Kickoff Meeting + Monitoring/Implementation Toolkit Development
•    Contribute to project-specific SOPs in coordination with technical team and ensure proper implementation.
•    Monitors the project work plan to ensuring that activities are executed as planned in the designed work plan.
•    Providing technical support and problem-solving to Health management as well as feedback and guidance for achievement
•    Monitor progress towards targets and work with Health management team to adapt activities to achieve set targets.
•    Coordinate with Pharmacy team and Community Health team to ensure all procurements address the needs identified at both the PHCC and Community Level and that procurement plans are accurate and updated.

Administrative & Financial
•    Keep the Health management team up-to-date on all the administrative challenges and budgets of project being implemented
•    Address project-specific audit requests for physical file review
•    Coordinate with and support third party monitors where applicable
•    Lead on the drafting and revision of contracts for IMC-supported clinics and mobile medical units in collaboration with the contract department. Ensure that eligibility criteria and service coverage is clearly stated in contracts and communicated to field teams prior to start of activities. Ensure proper ICD10s are stated in collaboration with Medical Coordinator. Follow up on contracting process progress.
•    Work with field Health management team and medical commodities manager and associate manager -community health at the central unit to monitor and project expenses for monthly pipeline meetings.
•    Provide recommendations and interventions to correct any identified deviations (compliance, financial, human resource) that impact budget adherence for PHC program.
•    Work with Health management to ensure the health team is following IMC standard operational procedures for program implementation and reporting.
•    Lead on needs assessment for printings for PHCCs (Yellow files, Consultation Sheets…)

Operational Support to Capacity Building/Trainings
•    Lead on contracting with External Consultancy/trainer who will deliver the PHCC trainings: Consultancy SOW, Contracting, Hotel Venue, Refreshments, Planning Schedule, Feedback, Follow up on Reports…

Coordination and Representation
•    Coordinate with Health management team on updates, challenges, and successes
•    Attend internal grant meeting reviews to update SMT on progress of project.
•    collaborate with the Community Health Specialist to align project activities with community health needs and priorities.
•    Collaborate closely with the Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices in project implementation.
•    Coordinate with M&E colleagues and Health management to ensure reporting tools and guidelines are adhered to project-specific reporting requirements.
•    Ensure field teams submit accurate and timely reports of project activities.
•    Represent IMC to UNHCR, WHO, UNICEF, other UN agencies, civil society organizations, and governmental authorities, as well as external visitors to IMC Lebanon, according to the request and guidance of the Health Director.

General
•    Adhere to all of IMC’s policies and procedures, including Code of Conduct and Security SOPs

JOB REQUIREMENTS *

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

•    Typically, a Bachelor’s in Nursing or other Health related field. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
•    Typically, 5+ years of relevant and progressive experience in similar position at a Hospital, PHCC, or any Health-focused NGO
•    Experience in Primary Health care
•    Excellent communication skills
•    Able to work within a team
•    Strong commitment to work
•    Able to work under stress
•    Strong commitment to the organization and its values
Desirable
•    Master’s in Public Health is a plus
•    Advanced reporting skills both qualitative and quantitative
•    Advanced Microsoft excel skills
