Job Purpose
Mercy-USA is seeking a full-time driver to ensure staff transportation and the safety of vehicles.
Project location: Akkar
Areas of intervention: Tripoli & Akkar – Lebanon
Responsibilities
- Transporting Mercy-USA employees upon request.
- Carrying out daily vehicle maintenance checks.
- Picking up office purchases or other administrative needs.
- Arranging for vehicle repairs when necessary.
- Ensuring that vehicles have sufficient gas and are always ready for use.
- Filling daily logs (mileage records, destination, fuel, passengers…).

Minimum Hiring Requirements
- Brevet Certificate or any equivalent certification
- Fluent in Arabic Language
- Basic command of the English Language
- Akkar residency is required
- Valid driving license and clean driving record (رخصة سوق عمومية)
- Utilizing a smartphone is necessary
- Good command of phone applications (Kobo, Whatsapp, Google Maps…)
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience
- NGO/INGO experience is preferable
- Knowledge/familiarity with the area of operations
- Punctuality, reliability and strong sense of responsibility
