As Local Coordinator, your tasks will include:

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to map target areas and coordinate day-to-day operations and programmatic activities.

• Plan and organize dialogue meetings, events, and training programs in the designated region, actively participating in these activities.

• Prepare detailed field progress reports and ensure comprehensive documentation of all project activities.

• Cultivate positive working relationships with partners and stakeholders in the community to foster cooperation and project success.

• Facilitate group discussions to identify socio-economic needs and develop initiatives/projects to address them effectively.

Qualifications: 

• Strong preference for being a local of the designated region and residing in it.

• Understanding of Lebanon's political situation and administrative structures.

• Excellent communication and representational skills, including proficiency in written and oral Arabic communication across diverse cultural contexts.

• Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and manage stressful situations effectively.

• Flexibility and adaptability to evolving project needs and working dynamics.

• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.

• Previous experience in facilitating group discussions is preferred.

• Experience working with (I)NGOs is an advantage.

• Willingness and/or ability to conduct regular field visits both within the designated region and to Beirut.
