Job Objective:
Identify and carry out all patient nursing care with a high level of provided services at Tamlis Primary Healthcare Center in Beirut.

- Provide needed support to all patients taking into consideration their physical, psychological, and safety needs.
- Prepare necessary equipment and assist in diagnostic tests and therapeutic measures.
- Prepare patients physically and emotionally for treatments and diagnostic procedures.
- Carry out medical treatment as assigned by physicians and in coordination with the pharmacist.
- Provide medication to patients as assigned by the physician when needed.
- Answer all patients’ calls and inquiries.
- Provide needed teaching to individual patients and family members (awareness and education sessions).
- Administer vaccines and prepare vaccination reports as per MoPH guidelines.
- Perform referral or transfer of patients as per policies and guidelines of MOPH and the HQ.
- Respond to emergency medical cases with promptness and proper judgment.
- Know how to use all primary health care center medical equipment.
- Ensure tidiness and cleanliness of the primary health care center.
- Assist in reviewing, quarterly, KPIs and ensure implementation of corrective actions in collaboration with the Head of Section.
- Monitor patients’ response to provided therapy, document all changes in medical status, and report to the physician when needed.
- Participate in planning team members' duties in collaboration with the Head of the Section.
- Oversee the work of team members and ensure excellent quality of care provided.
- Participate in the physician’s treatment plan for the patient.
- Prepare an accurate report on patients' cases and conditions.
- Carry out all medical orders.
- Orient and assist new employees in developing their knowledge and nursing skills.
- Ensure that weekly stock inventory is properly performed.
- Visit patients in their houses, when needed.
- Report and follow up on any maintenance issues related to the section.
- Plan for the implementation of social and health activities in the community, in coordination with the Head of the Section.
- Prepare primary health care center annual budget in the absence of PHC in charge.
- Continuously review the Primary Health Care Center’s expenses and ensure compliance with a pre-set budget.
- Attend and participate in In-service meetings.
- Prepare all required reports (monthly patients’ statistics, health education plan, activities, annual report…).
- Perform all Practical nurse tasks, when needed.
- Document the patient’s health nursing assessment in the patient’s file (Hard copy, HIS – Phenics).
- Perform additional related duties as requested by the Head of the Section.
Job Requirements:
