FUNCTIONS

    1. Assessment Preparation and training:
  • Undertake travel and conduct preliminary access missions in assessment sites.
  • Conduct all external relationships with local authorities to facilitate access to assessments sites.
  • In coordination with the Project Manager prepare all details related to data collection (field schedule, daily collection quote, logistics and administration) according to specified methodology.
  • Coordinate and plan assessment team training and facilitate sessions of the assessment training.
  • Prepare all documents related to enumerators for HR and Finance.
  • Participate in the hiring process of the enumerators.
  • Prepare ACTED IDs and visibility documents for the enumerators.
    1. Data Collection in the field
  • Collect data independently in line with specified tools and methodology.
  • Accompany and actively manage data collectors in the field and ensure accurate data collection as specified in the methodology.
  • Communicate any delay in data collection to the Project Manager and plan alternative activities when necessary.
  • Give debriefings with ACTED staff as needed.
  • Assure the quality of the data collected based on agreed quality standards. Spot-check for accuracy during data collection.
  • Ensure care of all Acted inventory including daily check of assessment mobile phones
  • With the support of the Fleet Officer, check and validate the Logbooks regularly.
    1. Distribution
  • Support in the identification of distribution sites and the organizing distributions, provide support and training for the team.
  • Ensures close collaboration and coordination with cooperating partners to guarantee smooth implementation of activities.
  • Adhere To Acted Distribution SOP’s.
    1. Data Validation and Data cleaning
  • Download all data from the mobile phones at the end of each data collection day.
  • Spot-check for accuracy at the end of each day; question team leaders about any inaccuracies observed and review in daily team debriefs.
  • Perform data cleaning at the end of each assessment day.
    1. Safety and Security
  • Follow ACTED safety and security protocols and norms inside the country.
  • Follow ACTED code of conduct in country.
  • Communicate any security incidents immediately to the relevant senior staff.
  • Ensure that data collected is removed from paper or smartphone platforms as soon as the data has been transferred to the Database staff.
  • Ensure the privacy and security of the information collected in the field.
  • Protection Mainstreaming
  • Promoting of and adhering to Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse policy and guidelines (for site residents, ACTED staff, partner agencies, casual labors etc.).

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • % of assessments according to correct quality completed per day
  • % of downloaded data at end of each day
  • % of data cleaned per day
  • Quality of data collected.
  • % of coordination and organization on the field

The qualifications required for the job are :

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as International Development, Project Management, Business Administration, Social work, or a related discipline is required.

Professional Qualifications: Experience working with INGOs or UN Agencies.

Relevant Experience :  Field Work, Cash for work, Outreach, Assessment.

Technical and Personal Skills/Qualities: Knowledge of  Field work, Project Management, Communication, Adaptability, Problem-Solving, time management, Legal and Compliance etc.

. After CVs screenings, Only Shortlisted Candidates are asked to complete a technical exam (Written test) and attend an interview at acted offices. The processes might take up to two weeks.

Paid Leaves: 2 paid leaves per month, 12 Public Holidays, sick leaves as per labor law, Special leave events (Maternity, Paternity, Marriage, etc.)

Flexibility:

Remote work: one day of working from home per week if work schedule allows.

Flexibility to arrive to office between 7:30 am and 9:30 am, employee should cover 8:30 working hours per day including 30 minutes lunch break.

Emergency Leave : ACTED staff are allowed, after manager’s approval, to leave during their working hours for 30 minutes to 2 hours in case of emergency and to compensate it within 5 working days.
