DESCRIPTION:

MAJOR DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Activities
•Provide individual case management for persons of concern and provide ongoing support to GBV survivors in accordance with all case management steps.
•Apply the SoPs for GBV management and ensure the correct documentation and compilation of Case Management forms in accordance with all case management steps and related tools and procedures
•Ensure confidentiality of GBV case management data and information throughout
•the case management process, including referrals
•Ensure proper follow up on all actions to be considered for individual cases till achieving desired results
•Report the critical cases for final approval on the actions to be taken
•Respond to emergency cases that require urgent follow up
•Communicate and coordinate with other caseworkers and service providers in order to advocate, collaborate and conduct (internal and external) referrals according to the best interests of children
•Conduct Household visits after coordinating with the line manager
•Ensure smooth collaboration with the PSS team
•Prepare progress monthly reports on cases of PoC and on activities implemented
•Properly update the case management tracking sheet and case management tools
•Participate in training, conferences and attend meetings
•Coordinate with other partners/stakeholders in the regions to avoid duplication and provide better services.
•Regularly document cases using case notes and other agreed upon forms.
•Update databases / GBVIMS+ to ensure a comprehensive record of the case.
•Perform administrative and secretarial support functions

Generic Duties
•Follow Caritas Lebanon operational policy and procedures
•Respect the internal policies and procedures for example: dress code, attendance, discipline, etc.
•Complete schedules, activity planners, monitor staff availability and act against any shortfalls
•Resolve any staff issues and escalate any unresolved issue to the related manager
•Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor

JOB KNOWLEDGE

Academic:

.Bachelor Degree in Social Work

Other Qualifications:

.Communication, writing, analytical and negotiation skills

Related Work Experience:

.2 to 3 years of experience in related field

Language skills:

.English and Arabic

Computer Literacy:

MS-Word / MS-Excel – Intermediate level
