Salam LADC (Salam) is an apolitical, non-religiously affiliated NGO, founded in the South of Lebanon. We provide education, livelihood support services and emergency aid to vulnerable people, regardless of their nationality, gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, religion or political affiliation. Operations are conducted in Beirut, Central Bekaa and Kawkaba. Currently our largest operation is in Central Bekaa, where we offer a multitude of projects within our Saadnayel Community Center and in ITS' through our Bus Project. This role will be based in Zahle & Saadnayel, and transportation is not included.

We are recruiting an Operations Officer. Part of the core management team, this role acts as an intermediary between the field and the office staff, and plays a central role in the daily operations as well as well as monitoring and evaluation of all activities; specifically for our largest project called ‘Project ACCESS'. It is important to note a huge focus will be on MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning) for all activities regarding Project ACCESS in coordination with the Porgram Officer and the Salam LADC staff. Duties include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities and Duties:

– Liaise with the Accountant and Logistics Officer regarding Project inquiries and supporting in Logistical operations, Distributions when it is required.

– Follow up on the day-to-day project implementation and adhere to the donor policies and procedures

– Ensure reports for all projects are conductedin coordination with the Program officer

– Organise, manage and conduct all MEAL related activities. This will involve analysis of data and any relevant follow-up for activities in accordance with donor requirements.

– Keep all Staff Members, Volunteer coordinator and Logistics Officer informed about any security issues. Follow internal security guidelines; strong collaboration with the Director and the Security Officer.

– Ensure project objectives are being met by all Project Staff and if not, ensuring there is relevant interventions to support.
