الوصف: 

Main responsibilities:

  1. Support Deputy MEAL Coordinator and the MEAL Coordinator in designing quantitative and qualitative specific tools when require assessments, evaluation and BSS for health  MH and SRH projects.
  2. Design the electronic medical data for pilot projects.
  3. Supervision the receptionists of the Birth Clinic of Rafic Hariri University Hospital  
  4. Data reporting through the ITT (Monitool)for partners (Pilot Project).
  5. Collection of the means of verification
  6. Data Management
  7. Supporting Deputy MEAL Coordinator in enhancing Data security and protection regulation for MdM data.
  8. Supporting Deputy MEAL Coordinator when conducting training regarding specifics software (Dharma, Phenics, RIMS, ODK)
  9. Create formats for monitoring and evaluation activities.
  10. Report information and shared with other NGOs through Activity Info on monthly basis.
  11. To support the Deputy MEAL Coordinator in data analysis, monitor project indicators and propose adjustments.
  12. Produce analysis of data for donor’s reports, partners and for INGO coordination mechanism.

Main Activities:

  1. Data Management
  • Develop the architecture of the monitoring system: from paper forms to consolidated data used for analysis used for decisions support,
  • Supervise the Birth Clinic receptionists in aim to guarantee aquality control project data collection and management processes and procedures, 
  • Support the Deputy MEAL Coordinator in the improvement of the data collection tools used in the RHUH PHCC and Birth Clinic  
  • Work closely with the partners to implement the necessary tools and follow-up system for data collection and monitoring of activities and project indicators. The objective is supporting the partners to improve their data collection and health information system.
  • Responsible of the data cleaning and compilation.
  • Contribute to the monitoring guidelines and SOP together with the MEAL team and RHUH Birth clinic team
  • Define data problem shooting and problem solving.
  • Guarantee timely and accurate information.
  1. Data Security and protection
  • Supervise and regularly quality control project data protection and respect the procedures (GDPR) with the support of the Deputy MEAL Coordinator
  • Guarantee the confidentiality of the patients
  • Maintain safe and secure storage of electronic data and case reports,
  • Ensure the technical supervision, capacity building, training and coaching of teams (MdM and/or partners) on the collection, compilation, filling in and monitoring of dashboards.
  1. Monitoring and evaluation
  • Ensure the quality of data collected and provide data verification and cleaning in collaboration with the case managers, SRH officer, and receptionists
  • Enter and merge the collected Data into a database (Epi Info, Phenics, RIMS, Referral tracking sheets, Dharma ) and online monitool,
  • Support in setting up new databases in case new data are collected for extra activities: assessment, evaluation,
  • Feedback on possible improvements on data collecting tools to the teams,
  • Design/ Improve electronic data collection (with ODK) with the support of the Deputy MEAL Coordinator ,
  1. Data analysis
  • Represent the program both internally and externally: produce graphs and charts in order to analyze the entered data,
  • Analyze data using specific statistical formulas,
  • Provide Morbidity Chart and Pivot tables on Monthly basis to Mental Health Coordinator / SRHR
  • Using data visualisation tools for reports– Power BI, Excel, R, etc.
  1. Other:
  • Support the Beneficiary Satisfaction Survey implementation / designing and analysis,
  • Some field visits to support the team might be required.

  • To be able to work as part of a team and participate in all activities of the program

Requested Competence/skills:

  • University degree or Technical diploma in a Health Information Management related field is compulsory.
  • Ability to modify and analyze query’s and reports 
  • Able to produce graphs and charts from entered data
  • Able to analyse data (some statistical knowledge is required)
  • Draft action plans and follow-up indicators and results in a given area
  • Background in programming languages
  • Knowledge and experience in Data collection and entry (minimum Excel, Epi Info, SPSS and/or Stata an asset, ODK, Phenix, RIMS)
  • Knowledge in health/medicine useful
  • Must be detail orientated and able to prioritize work among different projects
  • Must possess strong organizational skills
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Good level in spoken and written Arabic and English
  • Autonomy, motivation, punctuality, flexibility, honesty and calm

This job description can be modified at any time according to changes in MDM activities or in the context with prior notice and agreement between the two parties. On demand of the direct supervisor, other tasks might be added to that present list.
