Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leads and monitors youth activities implemented at the organization including workshops, vocational trainings, campaigns, community events and youth-led initiatives among other youth support related activities.
- Coordinates and monitors the implementation of workshops to ensure consistency of methodology and objectives.
- Support managing the budget and expenditures of Youth program activities.
- Deliver training workshops that might include Life Skills, Employability, Entrepreneurship Skills and/or Technology-based training workshops to youth.
- Networks with local organizations to ensure effective implementation of activities.
- Supports the assessment of the impact of youth activities on beneficiaries.
- Ensures the activities targets of beneficiaries are met on time.
- Reports to Youth Support Programme Coordinator on activities progress and outcomes as well as the implementation of monitoring tools.
- Ensures the activities are well documented in terms of visibility, reporting, attendance sheets and other related documents.
- Builds volunteers capacities and supervises them to work on project-related activities.
- Represents the organization in related events.
- Performs other job-related tasks as requested by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in computer science, MIS, IT, Business Administration, Education or related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in vocational training, or coordination of youth activities or a technology-related field
- Excellent computer skills.
- Previous experience in working with NGOs is a plus
- Up-to-date with new technology trends is a plus
- Understanding the Palestinian refugee context
