Location: Baabda, Lebanon
Duration: 3 months, starting June 15th 2024 (flexible)
Schedule: Flexible, preferably two full days per week, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
About Us: Tabitha for Relief and Development is a local Lebanese NGO part of Dorcas Global Network, a Christian relief and development Dutch organization with a long-standing history of providing humanitarian aid and development programs to vulnerable communities worldwide. Our mission is to deliver essential humanitarian assistance, psychosocial support, and community-based protection initiatives, food security and livelihood opportunities.
Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated HR Intern to join our team and assist with various HR tasks. This internship is available for third-year university students preferably majoring in HR/business administration or freshly graduated students (less than one year since their graduation date) to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with scanning, hard-copy filing, and e-filing of documents;
- Manage leave requests and maintain records;
- Review timesheets;
- Assist in opening vacancies and screening CVs;
- Participate in interviews and other HR activities as needed;
- Contribute to the digitalization efforts of the HR department;
- Maintain confidentiality throughout all the processes;
- Other tasks as requested by the HR department or the management.
Requirements:
- Third-year HR student/Freshly graduated student (less than one year since graduation date);
- Living in Baabda;
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
