DESCRIPTION: 

Position: HR Intern

Location: Baabda, Lebanon

Duration: 3 months, starting June 15th 2024 (flexible)

Schedule: Flexible, preferably two full days per week, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

About Us: Tabitha for Relief and Development is a local Lebanese NGO part of Dorcas Global Network, a Christian relief and development Dutch organization with a long-standing history of providing humanitarian aid and development programs to vulnerable communities worldwide. Our mission is to deliver essential humanitarian assistance, psychosocial support, and community-based protection initiatives, food security and livelihood opportunities.

Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated HR Intern to join our team and assist with various HR tasks. This internship is available for third-year university students preferably majoring in HR/business administration or freshly graduated students (less than one year since their graduation date) to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with scanning, hard-copy filing, and e-filing of documents;
  • Manage leave requests and maintain records;
  • Review timesheets;
  • Assist in opening vacancies and screening CVs;
  • Participate in interviews and other HR activities as needed;
  • Contribute to the digitalization efforts of the HR department;
  • Maintain confidentiality throughout all the processes;
  • Other tasks as requested by the HR department or the management.

Requirements:

  • Third-year HR student/Freshly graduated student (less than one year since graduation date);
  • Living in Baabda;
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
