Project Description

Warchée establish partnerships with construction companies to facilitate the recruitment of qualified female candidates and provide knowledge and learning opportunities in sought-after construction techniques.
Warchée also supports builders, architects, engineers, landscape architects, and urban planners by facilitating their access to projects and surrounding them with well-trained female teams.
Position Summary: The Stock Keeper is responsible for managing the stock of wood, tools and equipment within the workshop. The primary goal is to ensure the smooth and efficient handling of the stock and inventory inside Warchee’s workshop; safeguarding and abiding by procedures regarding stock management.
Main Tasks and Duties:
Inventory Management:
- Maintain and organize stockroom for efficient and accurate stockkeeping.
- Conduct regular stock checks and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Identify and report discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with stock replenishment activities as needed.
Handling tools, wood and equipment:
- Safely and efficiently handle, weigh, categorize, and label stock items.
- Follow proper procedures for storing and handing over materials and tools.
- Ensure all stock is stored in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with the Project Manager, liaise with the stock manager, team members regarding stock information.
- Participate in inventory-related tasks and projects.
- Follow instructions and adhere to established procedures.
Safety Compliance:
- Follow all safety protocols when handling hazardous materials or operating equipment.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately.
Requirements:
Technical Competencies:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in material handling and storage best practices.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable and punctual.
Remuneration and duration:
- Salary: 700-900$
- Duration: 1-year renewable
