The Opportunity
The Case Worker will be responsible for implementing activities related to individual case management through home-based approach activities. The Case Worker will be also responsible depending on the grant’s activities to implement Focused Psychosocial Support (FPSS) for groups of children and emotional support sessions for caregivers, targeting vulnerable children and families including refugees, returnees and children in host communities.
In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.
In order to be successful you will bring/have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or other related field.
- Experience in working with at-risk children and families, and case management in the emergency response.
- Experience in working with CPIMS systems for data management.
- Experience in community mobilization and conducting outreach activities.
- Good in written and spoken English.
