أفادت القناة 12 الإسرائيلية بأنه تم فرض طوق أمني في البرج السكني الفاخر الذي يقطن فيه يائير نتنياهو نجل رئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو في مدينة ميامي بعد تحذير بشأن جسم مشبوه.
وأوضحت القناة أن يائير لم يكن في البرج وقت الإغلاق يوم الثلاثاء، مشيرة إلى أنه عاد إلى منزله يوم الأربعاء.
وقال أحد السكان للقناة إنه تم سحب إنذار الحريق في وقت سابق من ذلك اليوم، وعلى الرغم من أنه لا يستطيع الجزم بذلك، إلا أنه يعتقد أن هناك علاقة بين الحادثين.
وحسب التقرير، تلقى السكان رسالة من إدارة المبنى وقسم الشرطة تطلب منهم البقاء في شققهم وعدم الاقتراب من النوافذ.
وبعد حوالي ثلاث ساعات، تلقى السكان رسالة أخرى تبلغهم بأن الإغلاق قد انتهى وأنهم أحرار في مغادرة شققهم.
وقال نفس السكان إن مجموعة واتساب الخاصة بالمبنى كانت مليئة بالشائعات، حيث قال البعض إنها قنبلة، وادعى آخرون أنه كان إجراء روتينيا وأن الناس كانوا يبالغون في رد فعلهم.
وكان الدافع وراء الذعر هو حقيقة أن العديد من الإسرائيليين يعيشون في المبنى، إلى جانب حقيقة أن يائير يقطن أيضا في المبنى.
وقال أحد القاطنين إن الكثير من الناس لم يرغبوا في مناقشة تفاصيل الحادث بسبب الخوف من خرق العقد والتسبب عن غير قصد في مغادرة السكان الإسرائيليين، مبينا أن يائير بدا قلقا للغاية وبائسا منذ المرات القليلة التي رآه فيها.

The same resident mentioned that the building's WhatsApp group was filled with rumors, with some suggesting it was a bomb and others claiming it was a routine procedure and that people were overreacting.
The panic was partly due to the fact that many Israelis live in the building, along with Yair's residence there.
One tenant noted that many people were reluctant to discuss the details of the incident out of fear of breaching their contracts and inadvertently causing Israeli residents to leave. He also mentioned that Yair appeared very anxious and distressed during the few times he had seen him.
