الهدف:
مسؤول الحماية مسؤول عن تنفيذ سياسات الحماية وآلياتها ومبادراتها لضمان تحديد وتقديم الخدمات بشكل مناسب وسريع للأشخاص المتضررين. ستعزز هذه الوظيفة تقييمات مخاطر الحماية، وعدم الإضرار، وأنظمة الإحالة الفعالة بالتعاون مع الجهات الأخرى.
المسؤوليات:
- إجراء تحليل لمخاطر الحماية بالتنسيق مع فرق حماية المرأة والطفل، والعمل مع المجتمعات لتطوير آليات تقليل المخاطر.
- إجراء تقييمات حماية سريعة وإحالة الأفراد المعرضين للخطر إلى مقدمي الخدمات المناسبين، بما في ذلك المراكز الصحية، والمنظمات المجتمعية، وبرامج المنظمات غير الحكومية أو خدمات الرعاية الأخرى في مناطق التدخل.
- تقديم استجابة طارئة لحالات الحماية للأشخاص ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة.
- دعم تخطيط وتنظيم وتنفيذ الفعاليات التوعوية والاحتجاجية المستهدفة.
- دعم تصميم وتأسيس ومراقبة وتقييم أنشطة الدعم النفسي الاجتماعي وإدارة الحالات التي تنفذها منظمة I’mPossible.
- دعم جمع وتحليل البيانات لتحديد الحواجز في الحماية مثل المواقف السلبية، والتمييز، والوصم المرتبط بالأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة وكبار السن والوصول إلى الاحتياجات الأساسية.
- تحديث وصيانة قوائم الإحالة والاتصالات للمنظمات ذات الصلة في منطقة العمل.
- تطوير وصيانة علاقات عمل فعالة مع أصحاب المصلحة المعنيين بما في ذلك الوكالات الشريكة، وقادة المجتمع، ومقدمي الخدمات.
- المشاركة الفعالة في جميع اجتماعات المجموعات العملية ذات الصلة وكذلك الاجتماعات الثنائية مع الوكالات الأخرى عند الحاجة والطلب.
- البحث عن فرص للتنسيق والتعاون الوثيق مع برامج I’mPossible (مثل التعليم، الحماية وتمكين المرأة، الصحة النفسية والدعم الاجتماعي، القانون، المياه والصرف الصحي) لضمان دمج الحماية بسلاسة عبر القطاعات.
- إعداد وتقديم خطط الأنشطة والتقارير حسب الطلب.
- تقديم ملاحظات شفوية ومكتوبة للمشرف حول التقدم المحرز، والدروس المستفادة، والإنجازات، والفجوات، والقضايا والمشاكل.
المؤهلات الأساسية:
- بكالوريوس في العلوم الاجتماعية، الإرشاد، علم النفس أو مجال ذي صلة – مطلوب.
- خبرة لا تقل عن سنتين في مجال الحماية والأنشطة المجتمعية – مطلوب.
- خبرة في العمل مع قادة المجتمع وأصحاب المصلحة – مطلوب.
ملف الكفاءات:
- معرفة كاملة بالحماية وحقوق الإنسان ومبادئ الإنسانية.
- فهم لتصميم المشروع، وإدارة وتنفيذ برامج الحماية الميدانية.
- مهارات قوية في التنسيق، والتقارير، والاتصال، والدعوة.
- فهم وإمكانية الحفاظ على السرية واحترام العملاء.
- معرفة وخبرة في التوعية المجتمعية والتحفيز.
- موقف إيجابي ومهني، بما في ذلك القدرة على القيادة والعمل بشكل جيد في بيئة الفريق.

Job Opportunity: Protection Officer at I’mPossible
Objective:
The Protection Officer is responsible for implementing I’mPossible’s protection policies, mechanisms, and initiatives to ensure timely identification, service planning, and provision to affected persons. The role will promote protection risk assessments, do no harm principles, and effective referral systems in collaboration with other actors.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct protection risk analysis and, in coordination with WPE (Women Protection and Empowerment) and CP (Child Protection) teams, work with communities to develop risk reduction mechanisms.
- Perform rapid protection assessments and refer at-risk individuals to relevant service providers, including health centers, community-based organizations, NGO programs, or other care services in the intervention areas.
- Provide emergency response for protection cases involving individuals with special needs.
- Assist in the planning, organization, and implementation of targeted awareness-raising and advocacy events.
- Support the design, setup, monitoring, and evaluation of Psychosocial Support and Case Management activities implemented by I’mPossible.
- Collect and analyze data to identify protection barriers such as negative attitudes, discrimination, and stigmatization related to people with disabilities and older persons, and their access to basic needs.
- Update and maintain referral lists and contacts for relevant organizations in the work area.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with relevant stakeholders, including partner agencies, community leaders, and service providers.
- Actively participate in all relevant working group meetings as well as bilateral meetings with other agencies when needed and requested.
- Seek opportunities for close coordination and collaboration with I’mPossible programs (e.g., education, protection and women’s protection and empowerment, MHPSS, Legal, WASH) to ensure smooth mainstreaming and integration of protection across sectors.
- Prepare and submit activity plans and reports as requested.
- Provide verbal and written feedback to the supervisor on progress, lessons learned, achievements, gaps, issues, and problems.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field – Required.
- At least 2 years of experience in the field of protection and community-based activities – Required.
- Experience working with community leaders and stakeholders – Required.
Competency Profile:
- Full knowledge of protection, human rights, and humanitarian principles.
- Understanding of project design, management, and implementation of field-based protection programs.
- Strong coordination, reporting, communication, and advocacy skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of and ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for clients.
- Knowledge and experience with community outreach and mobilization.
- Positive and professional attitude, including the ability to lead and work well in a team setting.
- Strong ability to organize work, meet deadlines, prioritize work under pressure, coordinate multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
