لا شك في أنّ أكثرية اللبنانيين لا يريدون الحرب، ويعيشون يومياً في هذا الكابوس المخيف، لأنهم خسروا كل مقوّمات الصمود وعزيمة وقدرة إعادة البناء، ولا يريدون أن يدفعوا مجدّداً ثمن حرب الآخرين على أرضهم، لكن من وراء الستار، هناك بعض الأيادي السود تراهن على الحرب وتنتظرها بفارغ الصبر، إذ إن هدفهم هو بناء ثروات جديدة جرّاء سوق سوداء من الحرب، والتهريب والتبييض والترويج، ليصبحوا مجدّداً ملوك الحرب والأغنياء الجدد.
إننا كلبنانيين ذقنا أهوال الحرب مرّات عدّة، ونعرف كلفتها بالأرواح والدماء والتخريب والتدمير وإنهيار الإقتصاد وتداعي العدالة الإجتماعية. وندرك أيضاً تماماً من خبرتنا الموسعة في هذا المجال، أن الحروب تولّد فقراء جدداً الذين يخسرون كل ممتلكاتهم وأرزاقهم ومداخيلهم وجنى عمرهم، في مقابل طبقة جديدة من الذين ينتظرون ويراهنون على الحرب لبناء ثروات هائلة جرّاء تهريب المواد الأساسية، والأدوية والمحروقات وكل السلع الضرورية، ليصبحوا الأغنياء الجدد.
لسوء الحظ، نعلم أن الحرب لو حصلت، لا سمح الله، أن معظم اللبنانيين سيخسرون كل ما تبقى من ممتلكاتهم وأموالهم المتبقية البخسة، وسيُذلون مرة أخرى، لكن هذه المرة لن يستطيعوا إعادة بناء حجرة أو زجاجة. أما المستفيد الأول فسيكون حيتان السوق السوداء والمافيات المجهّزة التي تتاجر بحياة اللبنانيين وشبكات التهريب الجاهزة والمزروعة والتي تتهيأ ليلاً نهاراً بإنتظار الحرب بفارغ الصبر. فبدأوا هؤلاء تخزين الحليب والطعام والأدوية والفيول والبنزين وكل السلع الأساسية، وجهّزوا كل طرق التهريب، وحتى أنهم جاهزون لتنظيم هجرة ما تبقى من أولادنا عبر بواخر الذلّ للهروب من أرضهم الأم، وعدم العودة للبنان الجديد الذي سيكون بعد أي حرب جديدة بلد المافيات والأيادي السود.
لا شك في أن هؤلاء المهرّبين والمروّجين والمبيّضين الذين يفركون أياديهم ويُراهنون على الحرب، يستفيدون من بعض الغطاء الحزبي والسياسي وحتى الطائفي، ويتهيأون للإستفادة المباشرة من السوق السوداء الجديدة على كل السلع الأساسية على حساب الإقتصاد الأبيض ليطعنوا به مجدداً وحتى يقضوا عليه هذه المرة.
لم ولن ننسى أنه منذ نحو خمس سنوات من أكبر أزمة إقتصادية وإجتماعية ومالية ونقدية في تاريخ العالم، شاهدنا وإختبرنا كيف أن القسم الأكبر من اللبنانيين قد خسر جنى عمره وودائعه، وحياته الكريمة، وكيف أن الجزء الآخر إستفاد من هذه الأزمة الفريدة جرّاء السوق السوداء والإتجار بالعملات والمواد الأساسية، وبنى ثروات جديدة من وراء التهريب والترويج والتبييض والفساد في إقتصاد الكاش الجديد على حساب شعب منكوب وذلول ومسروق.
في الأيام الاخيرة، ذقنا طعم كأنه تحضير لهذه السوق السوداء الجديدة، من وراء إنقطاع التيار الكهربائي، وإنقطاع المياه وإستغلال أصحاب المولّدات والصهاريج بإرتفاع الأسعار، وتحضير الشعب على ما سينتظره في حال الحرب الشاملة.
في المحصّلة، نذكّر ونشدّد على أن الجزء الأكبر من اللبنانيين لا يريدون ولا يستطيعون التعايش في أي حرب جديدة، لكن هناك فئة صغيرة تراهن على الحرب، وتريد أن تعيش في جوّ الحروب والتدمير، لتكون ملوك سوق السوداء وحيتان التهريب وأقطاب التبييض وبنّائي الهجرة والتهجير.

**Who Are They, Eagerly Awaiting War?**
Most Lebanese undoubtedly do not want war and live daily with this frightening nightmare. They have lost all means of resilience, the will, and the ability to rebuild. They refuse to pay the price again for others' wars on their land. However, behind the scenes, some dark hands are eagerly awaiting war, aiming to build new fortunes through a black market fueled by war, smuggling, laundering, and profiteering, to once again become warlords and the new rich.
As Lebanese, we have tasted the horrors of war several times. We know its cost in lives, blood, destruction, economic collapse, and social justice erosion. From our extensive experience, we also know that wars create new poor people who lose all their belongings, income, and lifetime savings, while a new class of war profiteers emerges, building massive wealth through the smuggling of essential goods, medicines, fuel, and all necessary supplies to become the new elite.
Unfortunately, we know that if war happens—God forbid—most Lebanese will lose whatever little they have left and will be humiliated once more. But this time, they won't be able to rebuild even a single stone or window. The primary beneficiaries will be the black market sharks and mafias, equipped and ready to trade in the lives of the Lebanese, with smuggling networks poised and waiting day and night for war. These individuals have already started hoarding milk, food, medicine, fuel, and all essential goods. They've prepared all smuggling routes and are even ready to organize the migration of what remains of our youth, sending them off on boats of humiliation to escape their homeland, never to return to a post-war Lebanon, which will be a land ruled by mafias and dark hands.
No doubt, these smugglers, promoters, and launderers who eagerly rub their hands together, betting on war, enjoy some level of partisan, political, and even sectarian cover. They are preparing to directly benefit from the new black market for all essential goods at the expense of the formal economy, striking at it once again and possibly destroying it completely this time.
We will not forget that just about five years ago, in the midst of the largest economic, social, financial, and monetary crisis in world history, we witnessed and experienced how most Lebanese lost their life's savings, deposits, and dignity, while others benefited from this unique crisis through the black market, currency trading, and smuggling of essential goods, building new fortunes on the back of a devastated and robbed people.
In recent days, we have tasted what feels like preparation for this new black market, with power outages, water shortages, and exploitation by generator and tanker owners raising prices, preparing the people for what awaits them if a full-scale war occurs.
In conclusion, we remind and emphasize that the majority of Lebanese neither want nor can survive another war, but there is a small group betting on war, eager to live in an atmosphere of conflict and destruction, to become kings of the black market, lords of smuggling, and the architects of migration and displacement.
