Job Title: Social Worker at SOS Children's Villages
Mission of the Position: The Social Worker is responsible for ensuring the well-being of children within the SOS Children's Villages, focusing on proper child admission, the quality implementation of family-based child care, and reintegration with biological families when it is in the best interest of the child. The Social Worker plays a key role in supporting children and SOS Mothers, reporting directly to the FLC Leader and working closely with the National SOS Mothers Coordinator and the Village Pedagogical Committee.
Key Responsibilities:

Child Admission and Integration:
- Ensure the child admission process is conducted in the best interest of the child.
- Conduct social investigations for each child's case, collecting accurate information from reliable sources.
- Screen cases according to National Admission Criteria and present them to the National Pedagogical Committee.
- Assist in the child's smooth integration into the village and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.

Support for SOS Mothers and Candidates:
- Visit SOS Mothers Candidates during their probation period and organize their village visits.
- Facilitate training for SOS Mothers Candidates and provide continuous guidance.
- Ensure accurate documentation of candidate performance and manage their leaves and replacements.

Child Development Project Oversight:
- Oversee individual child development plans and progress reviews with the Village Pedagogical Committee.
- Support SOS Mothers in their active participation in child development projects.

Biological Family Reintegration:
- Visit biological families when appropriate, especially those expecting to host their children during vacations.
- Assist in developing rehabilitation projects for biological families, conducting regular home visits.
- Update records on any changes in the status of biological families.

SOS Children's Villages Organisation:
- Familiarize yourself with SOS philosophies, policies, and staff roles.
- Attend village management meetings and contribute to managerial duties as required.
- Safeguard all SOS property and financial resources.
Child Safeguarding:
- Raise awareness about the SOS Child Protection Policy and ensure the protection of children from abuse, exploitation, violence, and discrimination.
- Report any child safeguarding concerns or incidents immediately following SOS reporting procedures.

يتولى الأخصائي الاجتماعي مسؤولية ضمان رعاية الأطفال بجودة عالية في قرى الأطفال SOS، مع التركيز على قبول الأطفال بشكل صحيح، وتنفيذ الرعاية الأسرية، وإعادة دمج الأطفال مع أسرهم البيولوجية عند توافر المصلحة الفضلى للطفل. يتمثل دور الأخصائي الاجتماعي في دعم الأطفال وأمهات SOS بالتنسيق مع منسق أمهات SOS واللجنة التربوية في القرية، ويكون تحت إشراف قائد FLC.
المسؤوليات الرئيسية:

قبول ودمج الأطفال:
- ضمان قبول الأطفال وفقًا للمصلحة الفضلى للطفل.
- إجراء التحقيقات الاجتماعية حول حالات الأطفال وتوثيق المعلومات بدقة.
- عرض الحالات على اللجنة التربوية الوطنية وضمان تقديم المعلومات الصحيحة.
- تسهيل دمج الأطفال الجدد داخل القرية ومتابعة الأوراق الرسمية اللازمة.

دعم مرشحات وأمهات SOS:
- زيارة مرشحات الأمهات أثناء فترة التجربة وتنظيم زياراتهن للقرية.
- تسهيل تدريب المرشحات وتقديم الإرشاد المستمر.
- توثيق وتحديث الملفات الخاصة بالمرشحات والأمهات وإدارة إجازاتهن.

متابعة تطور الطفل:
- الإشراف على خطط تطور الأطفال وتنظيم الاجتماعات لمراجعتها بشكل دوري.
- دعم الأمهات في المشاركة الفعالة في تطوير الأطفال.

إعادة دمج الأسر البيولوجية:
- زيارة الأسر البيولوجية عند الضرورة، خاصة تلك التي ستستضيف أطفالها خلال الإجازات.
- المساعدة في تطوير مشاريع إعادة التأهيل للأسر البيولوجية والقيام بزيارات منزلية دورية.
- تحديث المعلومات المتعلقة بتغيرات حالة الأسر البيولوجية.

فهم هيكل SOS:
- التعرف على فلسفات وسياسات SOS.
- حضور اجتماعات إدارة القرية والمشاركة في المهام الإدارية.
- المحافظة على ممتلكات SOS واستخدام الموارد المالية بشكل مسؤول.
حماية الطفل:
- تعزيز الوعي بسياسة حماية الطفل في SOS والتأكد من حماية الأطفال من جميع أشكال الإساءة والاستغلال والعنف.
- الإبلاغ عن أي شكوك أو مخاوف تتعلق بحماية الطفل على الفور وفقًا للإجراءات المتبعة.
