**خلفية:**
تستجيب اللجنة الدولية للإغاثة (IRC) لأسوأ الأزمات الإنسانية في العالم وتساعد الناس على البقاء وإعادة بناء حياتهم. تأسست في عام 1933، وتقدم اللجنة الدولية للإغاثة رعاية منقذة للحياة ومساعدة تحولية للاجئين الذين أجبروا على الفرار بسبب الحرب أو الكوارث. تعمل اليوم في أكثر من 40 دولة و22 مدينة في الولايات المتحدة، حيث تعيد IRC الأمان والكرامة والأمل لملايين الأفراد الضعفاء الذين شردهم النزاع أو الكوارث. وتعتبر IRC في طليعة المنظمات التي تسعى من “الأذى إلى الأمان”.
في لبنان، تنفذ IRC برامج في مجالات التعليم والحماية وتمكين المرأة والتعافي الاقتصادي وحماية الطفل. ومن بين أهداف الحماية الرئيسية للأطفال في IRC هو تعزيز النظام الوطني لحماية الطفل لضمان استجابة نوعية للأطفال والأسر الذين يواجهون مشاكل الحماية سواء أثناء الطوارئ أو خارجها. وتعمل IRC مع الجهات المحلية لبناء قدراتها في هذا المجال.
**نظرة عامة على الوظيفة:**
تسعى IRC لتوظيف مسؤول حماية الطفل لدعم تنفيذ أنشطة حماية الطفل في لبنان. سيكون المسؤول مسؤولًا عن تصميم ومتابعة وتقييم الأنشطة في الشمال والبقاع والمناطق الأخرى. سيقوم بدور محوري في تقديم الدعم الفني والتدريب والمراقبة للفرق المحلية وشركاء IRC لضمان تقديم خدمات ذات جودة عالية للأطفال والأسر.
**المسؤوليات الرئيسية:**
– الإشراف على فرق إدارة الحالات في الشمال والبقاع لضمان تقديم خدمات إدارة الحالات للأطفال المعرضين للخطر.
– تقديم دعم فني وشخصي لموظفي الحماية والشركاء المحليين.
– تنظيم دورات تدريبية لبناء القدرات في مجالات حماية الطفل والعدالة.
– الإشراف على الأنشطة النفسية الاجتماعية والحرص على تنفيذها بالشكل المطلوب.
– التنسيق مع المنظمات الشريكة لضمان استدامة تقديم الخدمات وحماية الأطفال في النظام القضائي.
**متطلبات الوظيفة:**
– درجة البكالوريوس في العمل الاجتماعي أو القانون أو مجال ذي صلة.
– خبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات في مجال حماية الطفل.
– مهارات ممتازة في التواصل وإدارة الفرق.
– إجادة اللغتين العربية والإنجليزية كتابة وتحدثًا.

Child Protection Officer (CM&PSS) – Access to Justice – Beirut
**Background:**
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world's worst humanitarian crises and helps people survive and rebuild their lives. Founded in 1933, the IRC provides life-saving care and transformative assistance to refugees forced to flee war or disaster. Today, the IRC operates in over 40 countries and 22 cities in the United States, restoring safety, dignity, and hope to millions of vulnerable individuals uprooted by conflict or disaster. The IRC leads the way from harm to home.
In Lebanon, the IRC implements programs in education, protection, women's empowerment, economic recovery, and child protection. One of the main objectives of IRC’s child protection efforts is to strengthen the national child protection system, ensuring quality services to children and families both in emergencies and beyond. The IRC collaborates with local child protection actors to enhance their capacities.
**Job Overview:**
The IRC is looking to hire a Child Protection Officer to oversee child protection activities across Lebanon. The officer will be responsible for designing, monitoring, and evaluating programs in the North, Bekaa, and other regions, providing technical support and training to IRC staff and local partners to ensure high-quality child protection services.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Supervise caseworkers in the North and Bekaa to ensure proper case management services are provided to at-risk children.
– Offer technical guidance and support to child protection teams and local partners.
– Organize capacity-building training in child protection and justice-related issues.
– Oversee psychosocial support activities and ensure proper implementation.
– Coordinate with partner organizations to ensure the sustainability of services and protect children in the judicial system.
**Job Requirements:**
– Bachelor's degree in social work, law, or related field.
– Minimum 3 years of experience in child protection.
– Excellent communication and team management skills.
– Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
