أفاد الوزير السابق زياد بارود في حديثه لقناة MTV بأن لبنان يدخل مرحلة جديدة تتسم بالتوتر، مشيراً إلى أن اغتيال الأمين العام لحزب الله حسن نصرالله سيترك آثارًا كبيرة على البلاد. واعتبر بارود أن لبنان يحتاج إلى تضامن أكبر من أي وقت مضى في هذه اللحظة الحرجة.
وأشار إلى ضرورة تعزيز الحوار اللبناني-اللبناني، ولكن أكد أن الوقت الحالي ليس مناسبًا للحديث عن النظام أو الأزمات التي تعاني منها البلاد. وطرح تساؤلاً حول قدرة لبنان على مناقشة تغيير النظام في ظل الأوضاع الراهنة التي تتسم بالمعركة وغياب رئيس الجمهورية وتفكك الدولة.
وأكد بارود أن اتفاق الطائف، في صيغته الحالية، يبقى المرجع الأساسي في هذه المرحلة، وأنه ليس من الحكمة البحث في تغيير النظام في الظروف الحالية. وشدد على أهمية احترام الشهادة وضرورة طمأنة جميع مكونات المجتمع اللبناني.
**Impact of Mr. Nasrallah’s Assassination on Lebanon**
Former Minister Ziad Baroud stated in an interview with MTV that Lebanon is entering a new phase marked by tension, noting that the assassination of Hezbollah's Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah will have significant repercussions for the country. He emphasized the need for greater solidarity now more than ever in this critical moment.
Baroud pointed out the importance of enhancing Lebanese-Lebanese dialogue; however, he stressed that this is not the right time to discuss the system or the crises Lebanon is currently facing.
