Originally named Un Ponte Per Baghdad (A Bridge to Baghdad), UPP has expanded its operations across the Mediterranean region, focusing on promoting peace, human rights, and solidarity among communities. The organization is currently active in countries such as Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine.
Job Overview
- Position Title: Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer
- Duration: 12 months with the possibility of renewal
- Duty Station: Beirut, Lebanon
- Closing Date for Applications: October 14, 2024 (applications accepted on a rolling basis)
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing data collection, analysis, and reporting on performance indicators in line with UPP’s data management and M&E system.
- Establishing monitoring systems to enhance program progress, particularly for vulnerable populations.
- Supporting the implementation of accountability systems for affected populations, including community feedback mechanisms.
- Coordinating and submitting monthly and quarterly reports to the headquarters.
- Leading operational decision-making related to M&E components of the program.
Essential Requirements
- At least three years of experience in designing and implementing results-based M&E activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, economics, international development, or a related field.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية
- إدارة وتحليل البيانات المتعلقة بمؤشرات الأداء وفقًا لنظام إدارة البيانات ومتابعة وتقييم UPP.
- تطوير نظم متابعة تعزز تقدم البرامج، مع التركيز على جمع البيانات للأقليات والمجموعات الضعيفة.
- التنسيق مع فرق الميدان لتأسيس آليات الاستجابة لملاحظات المجتمع والشكاوى.
- دعم خطط التقييم الشاملة للمشاريع.
- إعداد التقارير الشهرية والفصلية للمقر الرئيسي.
المؤهلات المطلوبة
- خبرة لا تقل عن ثلاث سنوات في تصميم وإدارة أنشطة متابعة وتقييم قائمة على النتائج.
- درجة بكاليوس في العلوم الاجتماعية، الاقتصاد، التنمية الدولية، أو مجال ذو صلة.
- مهارات اتصال شفهية وكتابية ممتازة باللغتين الإنجليزية والعربية.
- معرفة ببرامج Excel وKoBo وأنظمة إدارة البيانات.
