إمدادات طبية عاجلة من “اليونيسف” إلى لبنان
أعلنت “اليونيسف” أنها ستقدم 167 طناً من الإمدادات الطبية لنحو مليوني شخص تأثروا بالنزاع المتصاعد في لبنان، وخاصة من النساء والأطفال. وقد قامت المنظمة بتسليم 67 طناً مترياً من هذه الإمدادات خلال الأيام الثلاثة الماضية، وذلك عبر النقل البري والجوي، بفضل الدعم المالي من الحكومة البريطانية.
تشمل الإمدادات الطبية الضرورية المستشفيات التي تعالج المصابين، مع توفير مجموعات طبية طارئة لمساعدة النساء الحوامل، بالإضافة إلى الأدوية والعلاجات الأساسية لحالات العدوى الحادة. وفي العام الماضي، وثقت وزارة الصحة العامة اللبنانية مقتل 2083 شخصاً، من بينهم أكثر من 127 طفلاً، مما يزيد من أهمية هذه الإمدادات.
الطائرة التي حملت 25 طناً من الأدوية وصلت إلى مطار بيروت في 6 أكتوبر، تبعها 10 أطنان أخرى جوًا، و17 طناً عبر البر من الأردن. كانت “اليونيسف” من أوائل المنظمات التي قدمت المساعدات للبنان بعد التصعيد الأخير، ومن المتوقع أن تصل شحنات إضافية في الأيام القليلة المقبلة.
وبالإضافة إلى ذلك، وزعت “اليونيسف” 135 طناً مترياً من الإمدادات الطارئة، مستهدفةً نحو 60 ألف نازح في أكثر من 240 مركز إيواء، حيث حصلوا على مواد إغاثة أساسية مثل المياه والبطانيات ومستلزمات النظافة.

UNICEF Delivers Medical Supplies to Nearly Two Million People in Lebanon
UNICEF has announced that it will provide 167 metric tons of medical supplies to nearly two million individuals affected by the rapidly escalating conflict in Lebanon, particularly focusing on women and children. The organization has delivered 67 metric tons of these supplies over the past three days through both land and air transport, made possible by financial support from the UK government.
These essential medical supplies are critical for hospitals treating patients, including emergency health kits for healthcare facilities that assist pregnant women, as well as basic medications for infectious and acute cases. Last year, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health reported 2,083 fatalities, including over 127 children, highlighting the urgent need for these supplies.
A plane carrying 25 tons of medications arrived at Beirut International Airport on October 6, followed by an additional 10 tons via air and 17 tons overland from Jordan through Syria. UNICEF was among the first organizations to deliver supplies to Lebanon following the recent escalation on September 23, with more shipments expected in the coming days.
In addition, UNICEF has distributed 135 metric tons of emergency supplies targeting around 60,000 displaced individuals across more than 240 shelters, where they received essential relief materials such as water, blankets, and hygiene kits.

Finally, UNICEF calls on the international community to urgently provide financial support amounting to $105 million to address the increasing needs in Lebanon over the next three months.
