بحصلي: المواد الغذائية متوافرة بكثرة والأسعار مستقرة

أعلن رئيس نقابة مستوردي المواد الغذائية، هاني بحصلي، في بيان له اليوم أن أسعار المواد الغذائية في لبنان مستقرة، مشيرًا إلى أن السوق يشهد وفرة كبيرة في هذه المواد، مع عدم وجود أي نقص في السلع.

وأضاف بحصلي: “بناءً على ذلك، لا يوجد داعٍ للهلع أو تخزين كميات كبيرة من المواد الغذائية، رغم أهمية احتياج العائلات اللبنانية للتأهب”. وأوضح أن استيراد المواد الغذائية مستمر عبر مرفأ بيروت ومطار رفيق الحريري الدولي، مما يعني أن المخزون المتوفر يكفي لبنان لأكثر من شهرين.

وشدد على أن الوضع سيبقى مستقرًا طالما أن حركة المرفأ والمطار طبيعية، مؤكدًا أن الشحنات والبواخر تصل إلى لبنان بشكل اعتيادي.

وبخصوص أسعار المواد الغذائية، أكد بحصلي أن الأسعار لا تزال مستقرة، مشيرًا إلى أن الشكاوى التي تصل إليهم قد لا تكون دقيقة. وأوضح أنه في ظل الحرب الحالية، قد يحاول البعض استغلال الظروف، خصوصًا في المناطق، ولكن مع وجود عرض كبير من السلع وآلاف نقاط البيع، لا يمكن أن يستمر هذا الوضع.

وختم بحصلي بالقول إنه ليس هناك أي مبرر لارتفاع الأسعار، خاصة مع وجود عرض أكبر من الطلب. حتى إذا حدث تهافت في بعض المحلات، فلن يحدث نقص في البضائع، مطمئنًا الجميع بأن الأسعار مستقرة.

Bashly: Food Supplies Abundant and Prices Stable

Hani Bashly, the President of the Food Importers Syndicate, stated in a press release today that food prices in Lebanon remain stable, noting a significant abundance of food supplies in the market, with no shortages of any goods.

He remarked, “On this basis, there is no need for panic or for families to stockpile large quantities of food, although it is essential for Lebanese households to remain prepared.” He clarified that food imports continue through the Port of Beirut and Rafic Hariri International Airport, indicating that the existing stock is sufficient for Lebanon for more than two months.

Bashly emphasized that this situation will persist as long as port and airport operations remain normal, affirming that shipments and vessels are arriving in Lebanon as usual.

Regarding food prices, he reiterated that they are stable and indicated that the complaints they receive may not be accurate. He pointed out that during the current state of war, some may try to exploit the situation, especially in certain areas; however, with the large supply of goods and thousands of points of sale, such conditions cannot continue.

Bashly concluded by stating that there is no justification for price increases, particularly given that supply exceeds demand. Even if there is a rush in some stores, there will be no shortage of goods, reassuring everyone that prices are stable.
