Meanwhile, while Tripoli Port sees some travel activity via ferries to Mersin in Turkey and Cyprus, the same cannot be said for Beirut Port. Itani pointed out that Turkish authorities recently evacuated their citizens from a vessel that arrived with aid for Lebanon, although the number of departures was not significant.
