About the Role:
MSF (Médecins Sans Frontières) is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join its team in Beirut, Lebanon. The role involves overseeing daily maintenance activities of infrastructure, managing non-medical stocks, and ensuring compliance with MSF standards. The supervisor will also be responsible for coordinating and supervising the maintenance of the vehicle fleet, energy systems, and other logistics tasks. Additionally, the supervisor will lead the logistics team, ensuring quality work and managing daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor infrastructure maintenance activities and manage non-medical stocks and equipment according to MSF standards.
• Perform daily visits to facilities under the line manager's supervision, identifying issues, evaluating rehabilitation needs, and ensuring compliance with safety norms.
• Plan and coordinate energy systems maintenance in collaboration with the line manager.
• Supervise and lead the logistics team, assigning tasks, setting work schedules, and organizing meetings. Participate in recruitment and provide regular feedback on team performance.
• Ensure timely maintenance of the vehicle fleet, including preventive and curative maintenance according to MSF standards. Monitor driver behavior and vehicle checks.
• Manage logistics orders, collecting orders from various departments, processing and following up on orders, and ensuring proper delivery conditions.
• Provide technical support to the storekeeper, oversee local purchases, and ensure proper handling and storage of materials.

Qualifications:

• Education: Lebanese Baccalaureate Certificate (Secondary Education) and related technical diploma.
• Experience:
  • Essential: At least 1 year with MSF or 2 years in a similar supervisory role outside of MSF.
• Languages:
  • Essential: Full professional proficiency in Arabic.
  • Essential: Proficiency in English (professional level).
• Skills:
  • Intermediate to advanced computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
