Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

1. General Tasks:

   • Monitor the implementation of the project and the LPSP at the PHCCs (Primary Healthcare Centers) and mobile units.
   • Follow up on the progress of activities in the assigned centers through regular visits.
   • Ensure rational use of all services in collaboration with the medical advisor.
   • Monitor the proper implementation of the internal and external referral systems.
   • Responsible for providing all required documentation for administrative procedures.
   • Ensure PHCCs comply with MoPH reporting requirements, such as medication consumption, shortages, and epidemiological surveillance.
   • Coordinate with pharmacists to ensure smooth implementation of activities in the pharmacy (e.g., conducting monthly audits).

2. Guidance & Monitoring:

   • Maintain close collaboration with center heads for smooth implementation of administrative and clinical priority processes.
   • Work with the medical coordinator on addressing complaints and requests from physicians regarding consultations and diagnostics.
   • Conduct monitoring surveys using specific checklists provided by the Quality Coordinator.
   • Support the teams in implementing self-assessment checklists and accreditation standards.
   • Monitor the correct filling of monthly timesheets by staff and coordinate with the field finance officer.

3. Reporting:

   • Report any incidents or accidents to the field coordinator and follow up on mitigation actions.
   • Submit qualitative, complete, and analytic monthly sitreps (situation reports) to the field coordinator as per internal reporting requirements.
   • Ensure proper collection of data and submit monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual reports with proper documentation and verification.
   • Contribute to data analysis and provide feedback to the field coordinator on a weekly, monthly, or ad hoc basis.

4. Health Awareness and Campaigns:

   • Coordinate with PHCC and mobile teams for health-related events and campaigns.
   • Implement health awareness sessions, campaigns, and in-kind distribution as needed.

5. Quality Improvement and Patient Satisfaction:

   • Review and ensure the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) for each PHCC and MMU (Mobile Medical Unit) is in place.
   • Encourage staff to provide improvement ideas for the QIP.
   • Use patient satisfaction surveys, implement follow-up phone calls, and ensure data collection is accurate.

6. Mobile Teams Follow-Up:

   • Organize weekly field visits with mobile teams to monitor tool usage and inventory supplies.

Position Requirements and Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a coordinator, preferably in NGOs or UN agencies.
• Background in public health is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, management, and diplomacy skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage stress.
• Strong reporting skills, experience in conducting surveys.
• Knowledge of donor requirements is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and excellent computer skills.
• Fluent in both English and Arabic.
• Strong ethical standards and conflict resolution abilities.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexibly and manage deadlines.
